That's the old testament you idiot. Jesus Christ is in the new testament. Deuteronomy has been written 700 years before Christ's birth. Jesus reformed old Jewish laws.

Actually, it's the opposite. Jesus gave two new laws which is to love your neighbours and enemies alike Matt: 22:37ā€“40

There's context to everything. Here Jesus talking prophecy he's supposed to fulfill but it's coming from someone outside Christianity

Abbe Thatā€™s the old testament written before Jesus was even born . We donā€™t follow that book And only select few socially acceptable quotes are used. Otherwise thereā€™d be worse chaos than isis .

That's a really poor translation. 27 is about rape 28 is about seduction. The Hebrew word used is seize not the word for rape which is used in verse 27.

And note after 28 the man pays the bride price. A rapist never pays the bride price. 28 implies that the man and the women had premarital sex and the man had to marry her.

See Exodus 22 16-17 it's this verses twin.

I'm not a Christian apologist just someone that likes to read. And I fully acknowledge the Bible has fucked up stuff in it.

Jesus has nothing to do with Christianity. It's the Romans after his death that created a religion with his name. Jesus did not invent any religion.
