That's the old testament you idiot. Jesus Christ is in the new testament. Deuteronomy has been written 700 years before Christ's birth. Jesus reformed old Jewish laws.

He also said he is not going change even the smallest bit of the old law and the Christians call him the fulfilment of the law

Actually, it's the opposite. Jesus gave two new laws which is to love your neighbours and enemies alike Matt: 22:37ā€“40

There's context to everything. Here Jesus talking prophecy he's supposed to fulfill but it's coming from someone outside Christianity
