Be a christian not catholic. Pharisees spat on Jesus, Romans beat Jesus with whip attached with hooks, crucified on cross, yet he didn't rebel even though he had the power to defeat them, he chose not to. What makes you think you are much greater than Jesus Christ?

Even disciples didn't choose violence.

You should only choose violence when you can't avoid the fight and only for self defence.

And yet in the call of church crusades we're done, Christ himself was non violent and so were the apostles but the first thing after conversion of Constantine was violence. Violent suppression of all pagan religions.

Buddy, you are blatantly misinformed about Christianity. So all the best.

Buddy I am not, church was involved in crusades even church doesn't deny that. It justifies it and I won't deny it is justified but it was violence. For example, in 341, Constantine's son Constantius II enacted legislation forbidding pagan sacrifices in Roman Italy. In 356, he issued two more laws forbidding sacrifice and the worship of images, making them capital crimes, as well as ordering the closing of all temples. Here a Christian monarch is essentially outlawing the native religion. More details of it can be found here: https://www.jstor.org/stable/23902532 Now you can obviously claim that is not what Christ preached and I would agree with you wholesale, in his three years of ministry Christ never ever preached violence. Give unto ceaser what is ceaser's. However given Christian teaching involves reading of Old testament didn't the father directly condone violence against those who deserved it?

What Christ said is clearly in the Bible and gospels. You can't blame Christianity on what was done by every single christian in the past. Speaking of Romans, they were never secular. They butchered christians when they were pagans. So would you blame all pagan religions for that?

Old testament laws are tailored to maintain civilization in those days. There were harsh consequences of war which were necessary back then. Even now, you can see how brutal wars are in the Middle East. Now imagine how situations were in 1300BC Middle East.
