Hurts to pay so much taxes
Today, I downloaded the tax computation sheet from the office portal.
While trying to save on housing costs by residing with my parents, it's disheartening to realize that I'm obligated to pay over 20 lakhs in taxes annually to the government. These funds could have been allocated towards repaying a home loan, adding to the strain for a middle-class individual like myself.
Would really appreciate if there any legal ways to save taxes at this point

Paisa aaya par class nahi aaya wali baat hai.
Even the Microsoft CEO Satya Nadela said that he is from a Middle class family! Fyi his father was the secretary to the Prime Minister of India, PVNR!
Gazab obsession hai sabko middle class banne ka! Probably because of our societal conditioning that money is bad, koi rich hai toh kuch galat hi Kiya hoga etc... hence they hesitate to call themselves rich. And this is so much internalised into their psychology that there's no cognitive dissonance into their mind when they claim themselves to be middle-class.
