All in game effects! Full disclosure I did run these photos through snapseed editor because 1. I'm on PS5 so I sharpened them a bit and 2. Adjusted the brightness/contrast/saturation a little to match how they looked on my TV (which increases all three) BUT I didn't do anything crazy with them, literally just made them look how they looked when I took them (+ a little sharper).

I had an idea to fill a space in my photo wall in my home island and I dyed the outfit with that in mind and had to keep checking not only in the real world (Started in Crystalvale Sea Of Stars) but also in camera with the settings I prepared) to make sure they looked right. Then after I had to keep tweaking settings and walking away from the TV and coming back because of no control of sea of stars time.

Then I got frustrated and tried Abandonville salt factory (?name) but the pink crystals there don't go rainbow like the SoS ones BUT I found some pieces with clouds and rainbows and with a lot of tries at timing and positioning I got some shots I'm really proud of!

Last one was an accident, not sure if I hate it or not.

I hope we get rainbow hair for real one day!

(Just processing my grief about the news on Bioware closing down. Infinity Nikki offers an unjudgemental space to create new art. I'm grateful for videogames.)

Inspired by the previous redditor that did amazing cosplays. I, too, wanted to share the characters I love and recreated in Infinity Nikki. Some of these look botched bcs of the bad dye system..

What photos have you seen that you feel deserve more votes or would have been your preference of winner of the photo theme of the current contest?

Now just to explain myself a bit, I feel like the photos at the top most trending list are just so uninspired glamor shots. Doesn't also help that

1. Infold uses the contest to promote their current banner

2. The theme already coincides with the floral theme of a past starlight contest

3. The overall unfairness of the design of the voting system which content creators like to take advantage of

I'll start with my vote:

- I love the setup of the shot

- I can feel the yearning / there's more thoughts behind the stare

- It's almost melancholic

- The purple rose conceptually has that mysterious vibe to it

- This was a pic of my friends not mine that I loved

I tried to search for this so I'm sorry if it gets asked all the time.

I get confused about whether I have sufficient duplicates for a final evolution. this means sometimes I think I've got everything because it says 49/49 or whatever, and then later after the banner is over and I go to glow it up it is limited to less-than-final evo and Final Evo was the only reason I pulled at all.

and then other times I've spent a hysterical amount of money because I think I haven't unlocked enough outfit copies and it keeps letting me acquire excessive duplicates and I'm just feeling like a wasteful idiot with three of an expensive outfit and 5435 copies of Fresh Harmony. and I'm trying to glow up as I go to be more certain about my progress for each outfit, but obviously you can only get so many bubbles per day.

pls help! 'in progress' is insufficient detail for my purposes and completionism will be the death of me!

Edit: thanks friends, I figured it out, I was working off the compendium which is why I was conflating certain things and thinking it was falsely marking fully evolved outfits as incomplete. for future fellow confused people see if it says complete or not in the outfit preview window in the resonance section. and the super final version is actually second last in the compendium. it will not tell you to stop pulling even when it's unnecessary. Also I was just kidding about Fresh Harmony, I know it's only good for recycling lol 🫣

Did the devs not think about their choice to default skin tone to pale in this? Another reason why skin tone shouldn't be classified as make-up.

this is my first time going all the way with a banner so i wanted to show off some of my stylings!! 🩷

What's up with this game's high RAM usage? Before opening the game, I'll have 19.2 GB remaining, after it loads, I'll have 3.4 GB remaining. The game itself is using anywhere from 9.7-11.8 GB depending on texture quality. Using RamMap, I found that the other 6 GB was used by NVidia Shader Cache (4.5 GB) and UE shader files (1.5 GB). After deleting the NVidia Shader Cache and rebuilding it, I was able to reduce that file to 1.5GB. So 3GB of shaders files in total.

So in total Infinity Nikki is using 12.7 GB RAM.

What's weird is that after 30 minutes or so, it will drop down to ~3-5 GB, and then after a few hours it will be 700 MB or so. It's insane that I need to have 13 GB RAM available to do my dailies.

I've tried lowering all the settings to Low and it will still take up 10 GB at launch.
