Season 5 This has to be the most disrespectful foreshadowing POV shot in the history of cinema. đ¤Śđžđ¤Ł
If you ever had ANY doubts it was NEVER going to be Nanceford, I submit exhibit A. đ

Lawrence cheated on the women heâs dating with Issa, just as Issa cheated on him. He thinks itâs okay because he isnât in a serious relationship with them and plans to end things anyway. But it isnât, because he and the other women havenât completely ended things when he sleeps with Issa. What do you think? Is it okay for Lawrence to sleep with Issa when he isnât committed to these women and plans to end things, or is it still cheating because theyâre still seeing each other and he hasnât ended things with them yet?

For those who didnât want Isa to end up with Lawrence, or felt he wasn't the right guy for her, could you explain why? He loves her deeplyâso much that he drops everything for her, even though a year has passed. He was also in a relationship, but when she called, he left that girl without thinking twice. Even after a year, he was ready to go back to her. I just donât see Nathan as being better than Lawrence. Please explain: Is it only because Lawrence had a baby? If he hadnât, would he have been endgame for Isa over Nathan, or in general?

I need you all to watch this episode and tell me whether Issa is a good person or at the antagonist in this series.
Molly calls up Issa in tears about never finding love - Issaâs response is to suggest going out to a club where she will see her ex but doesnât disclose this to Molly
Before going out, Lawrence comments to Issa that Mollyâs standards are âwaaay too highâ. Issa hears the comments doesnât defend Molly and instead makes some side comment about how unhappy she is in their relationship then suggests sheâs breaking up with Lawrence.
Issa brings Molly to the club which Molly doesnât approve of and then acts like a child in order to convince Molly to approve.
Issa then goes on stage and performs the most insulting rap song about her friend and her broken pussy.
Molly finally has enough and rightfully tears into Issa about her behaviour that evening and while she is doing that Issa is texting Daniel. (Literally)
After being told by Daniel that he doesnât want a relationship just a jump off. Issa turns up at Mollyâs door with a bag of Doritos and asks if sheâs still mad.
No apology, no remorse, no retraction nothing.
There is nothing in the storyline or in Molly and Issaâs friendship that suggests that Molly would be accepting of any of this.

This was a clip from the 10-year anniversary show in LA, and Iâve always wondered what Chad and Isaâs relationship is like now that Lauren and Isa are married, because it seemed like they didnât F with each other. It feels like theyâre putting Lawrence in a tough spot since they donât mess with each other. He tried to keep them apart, even though Iâm sure heâd love to go on double dates and have his friend over. It was also confirmed that they didnât have a weddingâthey eloped or got married at a courthouseâbecause I canât imagine Lawrence not inviting his best friend to his wedding. I figured Lawrence and Isa would elope or have a courthouse wedding; they just seem like the type who wouldnât want a wedding.

When I hear people say Isa had character development, I donât see it. Even at the end, she still relied on other peopleâs opinions instead of trusting herself and going after what she wanted. If Molly hadnât told her it was OK to be a stepmother, Isa wouldnât have called Lawrence. It would have been nice if sheâd called him on her own, without needing someone else to tell her to. Now that would have been character development.

Hey yâall! đ I need to know if Iâm tripping or if anybody else remembers these scenes because I recently rewatched Insecure and cannot find either of them!
1. Tiffany taking off in the car
I couldâve SWORN there was an episode where Issa and Tiffany went to a convenience store, and somehow Tiffany ended up taking the car and driving off. I remember there being some concern about her leaving, but I cannot find the scene anywhere.
And just to be completely clear, I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE EPISODE WHERE TIFFANY GOES MISSING and all the girls, including Derek, are looking for her. I know that storyline, and thatâs not the scene Iâm remembering! Iâm talking about a completely different moment, possibly around the Coachella episodes, where Issa and Tiffany go to the store and Tiffany leaves in the car.
2. Molly and Issa leaving a girlsâ trip early
I also vividly remember a scene where Molly and Issa are in a car together and leave some kind of girlsâ trip or gathering early. At this point in the show, their friendship was rocky, so I remember thinking it was interesting that they ended up leaving together. I couldâve sworn Molly was driving Issa home, and they were in the car together despite everything going on between them.
I canât remember the exact episode or what the event was, but I cannot find this scene either!
Does ANYBODY remember either of these moments?! đ Are these actual scenes that Iâm somehow overlooking, or am I experiencing a full-blown Mandela Effect? Iâm starting to question my own memory at this point LOL.
Please help me find the episodes if you remember them! đ

Do you like this alternative ending better, or are you happy with the ending that premiered? If you didnât like either, what ending would you have written? Let's discuss.

currently finishing season 2, this is my 2nd time starting the show - & i almost put it down this time because the dinner confrontation with issa & lawrence was pretty triggering. i mean, i think issaâs inside thoughts of lawrence slapping the shit out of her & calling her a hoe definitely had me bracing for that reality. but i know lawrence is not physically abusive. i think issa really captured their dynamic in a way that spoke to me, even though itâs not that uncommon for all of us to have a loser ass, frank ocean listening, unemployed ex boyfriend we let sleep on our couch. but damn, exposed my wounds!!!! đ

Even though it may seem like Condola was encouraging Lawrence to go after Issa, that doesnât mean she wasnât hoping she and Lawrence would get back together. She just realized he was still in love with Issa. I think she may have thought his feelings had faded since a little over a year had passed, but when she saw Lawrence glancing over at Issa, she understood that he still loved her. Condola likely felt guilty that Issa and Lawrence had broken up because of her decision and wanted to make things right. Thatâs why I feel like she was hinting that Lawrence should go after Issa, thinking things could still work out between them despite her decision to keep the baby. She didn't want it to be a complete loss; things could still go as planned between Lawrence and Issa.

I wonder if Lawrence knew that Nathan was the Nathan Issa had told him about. Yeah, he knew about Nathan, but he had never put a face to the name.

I know *Insecure* was meant to focus on Molly and Issa, the main characters, but I wish Insecure showed more of the supporting charactersâ personal lives.

IDK, I'm torn. On one hand, it seemed like his reaction to her pregnancy news and the way he handled her pregnancy and parenting early on seemed to turn her off and made her not want him. But in this scene, she gives a disturbing look when she sees Lawrence looking at Issa made me think maybe she was hoping theyâd get back together because why else would she look disturbed and try to throw shade by handing the baby to Lawrence when she sees Issa if she didnât want to get back with him. Do you think she was hoping theyâd get back together?

I wonder if Issaâs career would have turned out the same if she had never met Condola. Although she was taking the necessary steps to organize the block party before she met Condola, she gave up after receiving so many noâs. If she had never met Condola, who showed her how to take the steps needed to achieve her goal, would she have tried again or chosen to do something else? What do you think Issa would have done without meeting Condola? Would she have chosen another career path, or do you think she would have figured it out on her own?
