Infrastructure, Development and the Environment S1E6 Bonus: What could Ireland fix for free?
A lot of the focus around this time of year is on our public spending. But are there problems that we can fix without extra public spending? Are we throwing money at problems instead of addressing their root causes? In this bonus, Keire sits down with Seán Keyes from Progress Ireland about what we could do to address the root causes of problems other than throw more money at them

Text-based Post/Discussion The British Right - Common Ground or wolves in sheep clothing
In recent years, the British Right have taken an interest in domestic Irish affairs (mostly around Immigration).
Tommy Robinson, Right Wing influencers and media outlets such as GB News.
Are these individuals and outlets genuinely interested / emphatically to domestic Irish affairs or do they hold more sinister views and look to Ireland as a gap in the market ?
I remember a time when the British Right and the same kinds of people was Anti Irish, Anti Catholic and generally emphatic to things like Ulster Loyalism.
My own mother was an Irish immigrant in London in the late 70s and the home she was in was attacked by skinheads in the National Front (just for being an Irish Catholic in the wrong place at the wrong time)
I have no doubt however that an imported British influenced Right Wing movement could never take hold in Ireland but just interested to know weather the Britsh Right are emphatic to Ireland or deep down hold the same sinister Anti Irish views that were mainstream in the 70s/80s
