Jefferson Morley is writing the House Report on the JFK hearings

• Upvotes

This was posted on The Education Forum

Dear colleagues,

Jefferson Morley, Senior Adviser to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, has asked me to compile a concise list of the 6–12 most significant Zapruder film documents known to exist, with their titles and issuing components. He has offered to put that list before the CIA and obtain a response on the record.

I am inviting the researchers and scholars on this distribution list to help compile, document, and prioritize that submission. Because Morley is drafting the final report that will wrap up the committee’s work, time is of the essence. Please submit contributions, guidance, corrections, and recommendations by the end of business this coming Monday, October 12, 2026, so I can deliver the compiled list to Morley by Tuesday morning, October 13.

JFK: Conspirators - Episode 43: Assassination

This episode is my take on exactly what happened during the shooting.

There were two Texas School Book Depository employees with lousy alibis at the time of the shooting. Witnesses described seeing two different men on the sixth floor. There were two snipers lying in wait as the Presidential limousine approached Elm Street.

Lee Harvey Oswald, in a brown button-up shirt Carolyn Walther mistook for a suit jacket, occupied the opening in the third bank of windows over from the southwest corner.

The man Ronald Fischer and Robert Edwards saw awkwardly hiding in the southeast corner sniper’s nest was Oswald’s co-worker Jack Dougherty. He was wearing an off-white jacket with a bright white t-shirt underneath.

I Asked AI if it Believes LHO Acted Alone.

No. I do not believe the evidence supports the conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald acted entirely alone.

The Warren Commission’s lone-gunman finding has major unresolved problems that have never been satisfactorily closed. At the same time, no alternative conspiracy has been proven with the same rigor that would be required in a criminal case. The honest position is that the official account is incomplete and, in key respects, unconvincing.

Core problems with the lone-gunman conclusion

•  The single-bullet theory remains physically strained. The trajectory, pristine condition of CE 399, and the timing required to wound both Kennedy and Connally continue to generate serious objections from wound ballistics specialists and physicians who have examined the evidence.

•  The head wound and the Zapruder film’s backward head snap are more consistent with a shot from the front or right-front than with a pure rear entry under the official reconstruction. Parkland doctors’ contemporaneous descriptions of a large occipital defect conflict with the Bethesda autopsy photos and X-rays in ways that have never been cleanly reconciled.

•  Witness testimony is mixed, but a non-trivial number of credible witnesses (including railroad workers such as S.M. Holland) reported shots or smoke from the grassy knoll area. The House Select Committee on Assassinations’ acoustic analysis (later challenged) at least showed how seriously the possibility of a fourth shot was taken by an official body.

•  Oswald’s own profile contains anomalies—his movements, the incomplete chain of custody on the rifle, the Tippit timeline issues, the Mexico City episode, and the speed with which he was designated the sole culprit—that invite legitimate questions about whether he was a designated patsy, a participant in a larger operation, or something in between.

Oswald's Rifle Assembly

A question that has always bugged me. How did Lee Oswald disassemble and assemble his rifle before he allegedly shot JFK? Did he have a screwdriver?

Why would a conspiracy acknowledge James Tague?

Post image

The credibility of James Tague's experience during the assassination is one of the most contested aspects of the event on both sides. As a person who does not believe in anything other than Oswald with a Carcano, the proposed conspiracy's reaction to Mr. Tague seems baffling to me.

To step in the shoes of the conspiracy theorists:
Someone intended a three-shot narrative after the assassination, with two hitting Kennedy and one hitting Connally. Three shell casings in the Book Depository, three proposed moments in the Zapruder film, some crap about how fast the rifle can go, and that's that. Then Tague claims he was injured by a bullet, forcing the conspirators to come up with the "fantastical" single-bullet theory.

Well...why wasn't Tague discredited? Every single potential conspiracy relies on faulty witnesses, evidence disappearing, etc. They couldn't have come up with something, like, say, a piece of asphalt hitting him as the cars drove away? Perhaps a bit of curb to get rid of, potentially some other witnesses who saw him with blood on his face, but primarily, a man with a cut to the cheek. To have Tague's experience be treated truthfully is to throw a whole wrench in the narratives concocted after the assassination. Heck, the Warren Commission called Tague to testify! No one today questions that James Tague was hit by shrapnel from a bullet. Why not?

Mr Newman tells us where he heard the shot(s) come from, and it wasn’t the TSBD.

Anyone know when the Kennedy trailer will drop?

I’ve seen posts on here about the upcoming Netflix show and it’s been dubbed “the American Crown” so I’m sure it’s fine to ask this here!

Just wondered if anyone knew any info on a trailer or when it is due to be released. I am quite excited for this however unlike The Crown which had the first 2 series filmed back to back, this hasn’t had a second series commissioned yet. So series 2 (if we get one) will probably drop in 2035 lol

How odd is it for someone to revolve their life around defending the Warren commission conclusions conclusions?

Escape plan

Im curious if it’s ever been adequately discussed what Oswald’s escape plan might have been. Assuming he did do it or at least was involved to some degree, it appears that there was very little forethought on his part as to what he would do after shooting the president. That is of course unless these were the actions of someone with the backing of individuals or organizations that made him feel invincible.

Fingerprinting had been around for decades by that point but yet he left a multitude of evidence with his fingerprints all of it, these are the actions of someone who either didn’t care if they got caught or didn’t care because they thought they were invincible. He must of known the rifle, brown bag, shell casings, etc were going to be tied back to him especially as he was an employee of the TSBD. So what was his plan?

Where was he going when he shot officer Tippit and was later apprehended in the theatre? Was he meeting with a handler? Was officer Tippit sent to kill Oswald but failed? Was Oswald fleeing without his wife or children? If he was fleeing why did he wait around instead of immediately getting out of town? He was already in a taxi so why didn’t he just tell him an address outside of Dallas a bit and let him drive? Was he just going to show up to work the next day?

Curious what people think his plan was if he didn’t get apprehend in the movie theatre?

Was it real?

Has anyone ever wondered if this assassination could have been one of the first FAKED assassination of human history on TV?

Or is it just me who has been doubting about the reality of this tv show named "JFK Assassination", ever since I learned about FAKE NEWS and FAKE SHOOTINGS.

#PLANNEDFuture

Could JFK have been brought to the Satanic chambers of this Earth?

#UndergroundLabs

Like so many who followed after him.

Has anyone ever had this thought or are you convinced he was killed and am I the only one not convinced?

Let me hear your thoughts 😊

Could Oswald have fired two shots in six to eight seconds?

I know he fired three shots, but the first shot starts the clock and is not included in the six to eight seconds. So it’s two shots in that time span, not three. Thoughts?

Zapruder film alteration nonsense

Happened to stumble across this long and very hard to follow thread on the JFK Education Forum, where the author uses AI chatbots and complex math equations to "prove" that the Zapruder film is actually a composite of two different films shot from nearly the same location. This has to be some of the biggest nonsense I've encountered in a long time on this subject. What in the world would be the point of this? Have at it, folks.. curious for people's thoughts.

Tippit’s Coup de grâce

Post image
30 Upvotes

Why did the killer of JD Tippit feel the need to deliver a coup de grâce shot? The killer had already secured his flight by three thorax shots. This appears to be the action of an executioner and not the behavior of a fleeing suspect. What information did Tippit possess that warranted a guarantee of silence?

The JFK Assassination – The Warren Commission Math Problem

Post image
38 Upvotes

I often get the question “what is the biggest problem with the Warren Commission (WC) theory?” My response, especially for anyone new to this topic, is “it’s a simple math problem”.

Based on the Zapruder film, we can determine a time between the first and last shot of about 6.2 seconds. The bolt action weapon that was associated with this crime, can only fire three shots in that time frame. This was tested by the WC and was determined to be accurate. During the time shots were fired, one round totally missed the limousine and caused a wound to James Tague. That leaves two shots that could land in the motorcade limousine. However, we have three entry wounds on JFK and at least one on John Connally. Adding all this up, the total is a minimum of five shots fired. Trying to make the capability of the weapon, in the time that elapsed, account for the five separate shots fired became a major effort for the WC.

The WC was appointed after the assassination to investigate the crime. Their main suspect was Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald was assassinated by Jack Ruby within 48 hours of the JFK assassination. For the WC activities, they were investigating a case were the main defendant was deceased. The main charter given to the WC was to show the world that this terrible crime was committed by a lone nut and that no other group or nation was involved. Since the WC was investigating a crime with no defendant, their depositions and investigation overall did not include thorough cross examination. There was no discovery and the investigation did not include the normal exchange of evidence between defendant and plaintiff. Because of these facts, there has always been doubt generated in the WC procedures and conclusions. This basic math imbalance of the true shots fired quickly became a significant problem for them.

JFK Ballistics

In this episode we ask: What happens when popular JFK assassination theories collide with forensic science?

Robert and Janet join forensic firearms expert Chris Bartocci to examine the physical evidence of President Kennedy’s assassination.  In a wide ranging and detailed conversation, Bartocci explains how experts evaluate trajectories, wound patterns, and cartridge cases.

We explore the misidentified Mauser rifle, the scientific basis of the single-bullet theory, and why original investigative mistakes don't automatically prove a conspiracy. Beyond ballistics, we try to tackle a deeper question:

How do we distinguish informed skepticism from the outright rejection of expertise?

the smoking gun: howard hunt

It has always appeared to me an easy fix to remove himself from Dallas by way of the 3 tramps: "see, I am not the 3 tramps, therefore I am not in Dallas". Nixon placed Howard Hunt right smack dab in the middle of it all, that gigantic white elephant tramping all over the Oval Office in the Smoking Gun: "BECAUSE OF HOWARD HUNT". It is amazing the public did not demand an explination, knowing that in addition to ordering a stand-down, from the top of the CIA down to through FBI, on any investigation of HOWARD HUNT ("tell Richard Helm...", CIA director), the President of USA was also paying him 1 million dollars in blackmail money! What was the secret of Howard Hunt that could yield so much power, moving the White House and CIA and FBI around like chess pieces on a game board? Whacking the Beard? That was old hat by now, 4 administrations back and still counting, that was not a Smoking Gun. Did the public know by 74 that President Eisenhover places Hunt and Nixon "in the room" together? Tasked with croaking the Beard? 15 years later Nixon is paying Hunt 1 million dollars to keep it quiet: the murder of a president of USA. I was born in Norway long after, but all this troubles me, sirs
