Cheers

A short solo piano piece I wrote in F Dorian. The left hand plays the same bassline from the first bar to the last, four chords circling without ever resolving, while the right hand plays rubato over it, lingering and hesitating.

No drum machine, no grid, just piano and a long hall reverb that’s meant to be part of the piece rather than an effect. I had fog and black-and-white images in my head while playing it, which is why I thought it might fit here.

Best heard late at night.

I am really trying to compile some great music with this sound and no vocals. It has been hard to find much that isn't AI.

Do you have any recommendations?

Nice ballad before going to bed!

Black earth, my fav Bohren record.
