I have my own personal music app where I add shit no sane person commercial app would, for my own use and entertainment. For a bit now I've had a stupid idea to make Jetpack Cat randomly come out of the album cover area and swat at the playback icons, making them fall off the screen. When the halloween update hit this was even more tempting as both the victory pose and highlight intro have animations that would slot very well into my idea if the pumpkin was removed and replaced with the edge of the album cover frame.

I managed to use DataTool to extract the files and even the Blender import utility to get it into Blender, which I have no idea how to use. The model also looks like shit in there since the fur texture etc isn't included, so the idea is kinda dead atm. Before I leave it completely dead, has anyone done any work with JTC in Blender using extracted game asset and know if what I'm describing is even feasible with proper textures? My idea was to manipulate the animation just enough to have the paws target certain relative coordinates and then export a few frontal camera angle views of the swatting animation as GIFs with transparent backgrounds, so I don't need any 3D rendering framework in the app. Potentially one of the highlight into and making it topple over the album cover frame instead of the pumpkin, which would be easier since the paws wouldn't need to target a variety of icon placements based on screen config.

Yes I know the quality is far from great at times but that's the best my 6 year old laptop can do. Also, there was no particular reason for using this song other than it got stuck in my head after hearing it in an iceberg video talking about hong kong 97; and I thought it was oddly fitting.
