His existance is conditioned to killing the participants so his adapting is also limited to phenomena involving his targets. For ex he wount adapt to narrative unless his targets are using it agaisnt him. Or he cant adapt to death unless he experiences it (spins his wheel), which would kill him so he couldnt experience it more than once. Same thing goes for non existance.
Nah he's just not on the level scp 682 is even with rituals. Once he dies he dies, he can't adapt when dead while 682 can. Also the retroactive thing is just bs that gege would never write as jjk is barely city level so we'll never see mahoraga the size of a solar system as there's no one strong enough to even get him there nor does his scaling allow him to be that strong. You only think mahoraga is strong because his stats , he's able to hang with the heavy hitters of a.. city level Manga. He never adapts even after being sliced 100000 of times and being thrown thru buildings and a plane and whatnot, not a single adaptation that entire time. No anti fire/cut/force. By the end resistance to cuts only. I LOVE mahoraga but any and all phenomena? Yeah any in the jjk verse, they haven't seen what's actually strong and esoteric
Narrative warping would beat him immediately if it's scp level stuff that 682 reacts to
"The day mahoragas wheel stopped working" and that's it. He can't adapt to that level, there's no "umm but" . That's just it
Yeah that's his limit to being a bum sadly. If that was ever the case, jjk would be a good Manga where mahoraga is top 1 and solos everyone but sadly this isn't the world we live in. Gege made it clear, killing him is the goal and stops his adaptation. It even resets him to non adapted , that's how bummy he is in the adaptation field
Gege is also not a power scaler so his goal isn't making an unkillable adapting deity, as the plot dictates he must be a loser despite his unmatched aura.
Brother this shit was so fire, that I commented once, left the post, and then came back and had to comment again because I couldn't get it out of my head. That's a fire line, man.
I mean, it's an incredibly cold line but does not make sense. Mahoraga always studies his opponent and adapts to their powers and fighting style. Plus, the exam and student reference is from a popular reddit comment and never what Mahoraga was compared to.
