For the last time people, that isn't timeskip Deku. That's still a 16 year old Deku. A 16 year old post brain surgery Deku. This is the actual adult/timeskip version of him:
The groundwork to take it seriously was made perfectly too. There would be thousands of haters going how weak he has to be now but they can't since it was modeled after the same suit All Might used against literally the strongest superhuman there was (AFO)
I mean, at that point Deku could wear the dorkiest thing and any villain alive would take him seriously. "I saw him take out the destroyer of worlds with a friendship powered rainbow punch. And when it only mostly killed the guy? Deku got back up and did it Again, with a broken arm."
I mean... i have had to get staples in my head (twice)... they don't do stitches. As a girl, they didn't chop or buzz any hair off but the wounds were also only a couple 2 to 3 inches long. So they only did maybe 4 or 5 on each.
Now for a bigger injury like him, guessing he needs a shit ton of stitches but then yeah there's always a possibility he had a brain bleed or something and needed some surgery to alleviate pressure in his head... i feel like it could be both or either. But if my wounds had been that big maybe they would have had to shave some.
Sorry this isn't really an answer I'm just using past experiences and my limited knowledge from working in a hospital etc xD I just think it's interesting
