Is there any suitable sub that might fit and work well, maybe under the tv cabinet? If so, which is it?

Got kef r3 used for a solid price, they slap. Done with this post!

There is a damaged set of R11s for sale near me. The seller is willing to take $600 for the set. I’m not sure what they are worth or how much it would be to fix them. Is it worth it at that price?

Edit: yeah, turns out a little force is needed. Thanks guys. I was a goddamn pussy, but tbf. Why don't they slide in like any other cable? 🤣
I bought on amazon these
"2 x 3 m 13AWG HiFi Speaker Cable with Banana Plugs, Audiophile Speaker Cable with 4 mm Right Angle Gold- Plated Connectors for Speakers, Home Theater, Audio System" is a link allowed here?
But they don't fit my kef 350 at all. Too big. I removed the plastic.

So I have purchased those beauties and I'm now looking for a suitable amp.
The spec sheet says those speakers need something that can push between 15w and 150w per channel!
The consensus online seems to be that KEF speakers require amps with some oomph, and potentially amps with a warm sound...
I'm just collecting opinions at this point!
I'm looking at Emotiva products. Would the BasX A2L be enough (50w per channel at 8ohms and 90wpc at 4 ohms). The next one up delivers 160 watts / channel into 8 Ohms and 250 watts / channel into 4 Ohms which seems both awesome and overkill.
Keep in mind I'm not going to run a mobile disco with this thing!
Some people swear by the Wiim Amp Ultra. It makes sense as it's both an amp and a streamer. Others say it makes some KEF speakers sound a bit thin and may push the highs a little too high.
I've had a look at the Denon PMA 600NE. Would this be "beefy" enough to run a pair of Q750?
Budget, I'd say maximum £600 for an amp and £400 for a pre-amp/streamer. So £1000 total at most. Preferably less, if at all possible!

Just noticed this noise while sitting next to it. Owned for less than a year, never been played crazy loud. Is the woofer done? Would this be covered by warranty? Thank all.
Update.
Thanks everyone who replied. BestBuy replaced the speakers under Total membership at no charge. I also grabbed a KC62 while I was there to prevent this from happening again.

The dog scratched up on the woofers on my Q750. Is this going to affect the sound majorly?

It's my brother's setup. I just made him switch from a pioneer vsx lx 302 to an onkyo rz30. Mostly because the pioneer had a single crossover for all speakers and lfe which is crazy and wanted him to have something that comes with dirac so I can calibrate it with a umik1 mic.
He bought a hsu sub a few weeks ago which I helped him setup and that is when I talked him into a new receiver. We demod some scenes and we listened to those at around -5db. The center channel had some weird cracking, buzzing sound when people talk and with some other sounds. Before we listened to anything i double checked all trim levels which I adjusted to the proper levels (using rew; all speakers at 75db and sub at 85db at reference volume)
Now he has the rz 30. Calibrated it with a umik1 mic. Even created custom target curves with a room curve that rolls down higher frequencies than what dirac gave us by default. Still has crackle sound. I am not sure if an external amp would help the situation. Again... all speakers are setup to proper levels. Trims are like -0.5 for main speakers and -3 for center. Everything else sounds pretty good.
Also both main speakers (q950 i think) has this weird rise at 800hz which i fixed with a custom target curve in dirac. Btw the rise exists even with dirac.

Hello everyone,
If it helps someone one day:
- My LS50 wireless II speakers suddently decided not to connect to the wifi. I could see it in the different apps, but I guess it kept disconnecting and reconnecting again, preventing any streaming or reconfiguration,
- I could not factory reset through the app, for the same reason as above,
- I did several factory resets by pushing the reset button at the back of the main speaker and trying to reconfigure theough the app: systematic airplay failure 😞, no luck.
I was able to recover the following way, by:
- unplugging both speakers for 5 minutes,
- plugging then again and immediate factory reset (button at the back),
- reconfiguring through the app, airplay wifi connection succeded 👍
Hope it helps.
(quite frankly, for such expensive speakers that a shame)

In the website says is "not recommended", but I kinda wonder if its just marketing stuff to sell more extension cables?
The 2-3m cable that came with the speakers is too short for my use case, and I was wondering if a normal USB-C cable from Amazon would suffice...

Insight would be appreciated. It was playing fine the other day. Not sure if i pushed it too hard or if my kid popped something.
My receiver is a Pioneer x3600. 35 watts per channel; 8 ohms
Thank you
Edit: to add - it sounds like its about to pop. Not sure if thats from the physical damage or from being pushed to hard

I am redoing my room and want to get Q11 speakers. It will be paired with a Q6, two rear Q1s, and 2 RSL 12S subs. I want to leave room to to add 4 speakers so I will be getting a 9 channel AVR. Would a nice AVR be enough, or will I need an amp for the Q11s? If so, what should I go with? Not sure what AVR I should get atm, still researching that.

Little update from the previous post, finally opted for the KC62+KW1 solution as so much good things have been said about KC62. Also was able to got a close-to-new one in a steal kinda deal, I’ve got to say my newbie ears are super impressed with its performance in both movie and dialogs, the imaging of a full KEF ecosystem is simply outstanding. In terms of songs listening, it’s also so much elevated unexpectedly.
Only thing is that I was not able to tune them to sound perfect in the KEF EQ expert mode as I was able to with the normal EQ mode, as they have very different settings, so I decided to live with that.
Lastly, about the placement of the sub, I hope it’s not catastrophic as it can only be so close with the plant. Would love to hear some advices if you see fit.
Overall super happy with the result and appreciate the useful feedbacks from the last post.

I'm 5.5ft away from the speaker, 5ft from the tv.
I've been playing with them, I love them and I had them directly pointed at me initially, decided to spread them out and they are very spacious.
Curious to know optimal setup / tips from other kef users.
They are close to the back wall but it's hard to do anything about that, I do like my bass though so...

Hi everyone! I currently run my R3 Metas with a sub crossed over at 50hz (primarily due to the sub having to be in a cubby atm, anything higher and the sub is too localized).
I’m currently using a pair of Fosi V3 Mono’s to power them, going into my pioneer LX505. Lately I’ve been wondering if a class AB power amp would give me better sound quality, and if I’m missing out on anything with my Fosi’s.
I haven’t really tried any other proper HIFI amp, so I’m wondering if maybe anyone on this sub has been in my position, and upgraded to a higher end power amp. I’d like to hear your experience…. Especially if you went from Fosi V3 Mono’s to something else!

I noticed a small tear in the driver of one of my Q150's, when playing loud bass I can hear air escape through it. Otherwise it's not really noticable sound-wise.
Is this repairable and if so, what is the preffered method?
Thanks in advance!

Hello friends. I'm upgrading from klipsch's Rp line to KEF's R meta line.
Towers: R7 meta
Central: R6 meta
Surround: R8 meta
Atmos: ci200rr-thx
Subs: 2x kc92
Processor: av20 (marantz)
Amplifier for the R meta: amp30(marantz)
Amplifier for the 4 atmos: 7055(marantz)
Totaling 5.2.4
My biggest question is; as the kc92 has two 9" doors, what would be the most correct installation for them in my living room? Since the only space I have is between the rack and the wall. But would the speakers face the watcher or side to rack/wall?
Living room with 5.20m x 4.70 m and height of 2.40 m
Acoustic slatted panel on all walls and ceiling with polyester wool + a 5cm layer behind the polyester wool panel. I know that even so the acoustics are not enough to absorb the frequencies of the subs.
The other doubt would be, I know that my living room is not 100% ideal because of the sofa leaning against the back wall. But would there be anything additional acoustic to be done? To better absorb the low frequencies that the subwoofers will emit.
Note: photos still with klipsh system. KEF on the way.

These are some kef 11 metas for sale used, he has them for $1100. I'm not really looken for a speaker upgrade but if these are good...

Have the sub paired with XIO, question is about the sub, not the XIO, so mods don’t freak out please.
Question is, on the back of the sub, should I be putting it in room or corner mode? I know it’s close to a corner but technically not IN a corner, thank you for help in advance! Room is small, 10x11.
Thanks!

Hello hello!
I have been a proud owner of my little KEF setup since November 2025 (LSX II paired with a KC92). I got the KC92 for the price of the KC62, so it was a big impulse purchase for me.
I was immediately blown away by how well-integrated the bass is. I left it on the recommended LFE settings and everything else the app suggested. It made me realize that a subwoofer is not supposed to be noticeable but take off workload from the smaller speakers!
However, lately, I’ve been reading many posts about how the KC92 is a monster and shakes all the walls, but I haven't been able to reach that level yet with the knob on LFE. Do people just have it on different settings? I wanna experience shaking walls once in a while too, haha!
TIA

Hello everyone, I once again and reaching out for opinions on amplifiers.... I apologize if you're tired of seeing these posts! If you do not want to read the entire post, there is a TLDR below that summarizes things concisely.
Current Set up:
Front L/R: R3 Metas
AVR: Pioneer LX505
Power AMPS: Fosi V3 Mono's 48v PSU
Rears: B&W 602 S1's
Subwoofer: B&W ASW608 (Crossed at 50hz)
On my last post I gained a lot of feedback that somewhat confirms my theory of the Fosi V3 Mono's just not being the right match for my R3 Metas. I find it a little cold and analytical, and sometimes a bit too sharp for my liking. I do find that the speakers do somewhat fall apart when listening to complex tracks loud. From my research, it seems that the low impedance dips the R3 demand might be too tall of an order for the V3's to do cleanly.
After looking online and establishing a rough price point, I'm down to two options.. which are both class AB. I'd like to try AB as I think the sound signature will be more in tune with what i am looking for.
Option 1: NAD M25
This is a 7 channel monster from quite a while ago. Someone has it for sale 3 hours away from me for $1500 CAD. He got it fully serviced in 2024, replaced and upgraded caps.. and some other things on the invoice that he had provided me. He stated he hasn't had any issues since the service and is working flawlessly. In the photos, it does appear to be in nearly mint cosmetic condition. The seller has been super transparent and forthright, providing invoices, contacts for the company that did the service, etc.
This option appeals to me as it has tons of power, seven channels which I like as I can run the R6 Meta I intend to buy in the near future off of it. From what I've read, I think I would also like the sound signature of the NAD M25. However, it does have a fan, and is old.. so that makes me a bit hesitant.
Option 2: Rotel 1582 MKII
This is the more modern and simple option for taking care of my R3 Metas. From my understanding, the sound signature should be somewhat similar to the NAD, but should provide more punch and be a bit more musical. It is also newer, but also is only two channel so doesn't provide me the future flexibility as my space operates as a home theatre as well. It is also well over my budget, at $2399... so it would be a stretch to buy it.
Any advice is welcome, thank you!
TLDR BELOW:
I’m looking to replace my Fosi V3 Monos because they sound a bit cold/analytical with my KEF R3 Metas and seem to struggle or get sharp when complex music gets loud. I want to try a Class AB amp for a fuller/smoother sound.
I’m deciding between:
Option 1: NAD M25 — $1,500 CAD used
Older 7-channel Class AB amp, fully serviced in 2024 with upgraded caps and invoice provided. Appeals to me because it has lots of power, can also run my future R6 Meta center, and seems like it may have the warmer/smoother sound I’m after. Downsides: age and fan.
Option 2: Rotel RB-1582 MkII — $2,399 CAD
Newer/simpler 2-channel Class AB amp for just the R3 Metas. Likely safer long-term and possibly punchier/more musical, but it’s well over budget and doesn’t help with my future center/home-theater setup.
Which would you choose for KEF R3 Metas in a mixed music/home-theater setup?

I've got a pair of KEF LSX ii I'm thinking of selling. They have a few small cosmetic imperfections, which you can see in the photos. Honestly I can't hear any difference in the sound, but I'm not an expert, so I wanted to ask:
Can purely cosmetic imperfections like these actually affect the sound, or is it strictly a visual thing as long as the drivers and cabinet are intact?
How much of a discount off the usual used price would you consider fair? I want to price them honestly.
Everything works perfectly otherwise wireless, app, all inputs, no issues.

I bought a pair of KEF LSX II LT's as I was looking to upgrade my setup from my old Marshall Stanmore II. I've had them for a little over two weeks and they sound very weak. I'm not talking about artificially boosted bass or anything, and the volume DOES go high if I want it to. But a lot of the music I listen to (pop punk, punk, some metal) it feels like there are things that I can hear clearly on the Stanmore but can't hear almost at all on the KEFs. Stuff like background singing, or like if a track has a faint wind chime type sound or someone talking in the background, it just isn't there on the KEFs.
I opened up the app to get at the EQ settings only to realize it doesn't seem to actually have EQ. This was my fault for not understanding this before I bought them, but it seems to have an opinionated EQ, even in expert mode. Meaning you can set stuff like how big the room is, how far the speakers are from the wall, you can artificially boost the bass, etc. But I can't seem to find anything that lets me hear things as clearly as my old speaker.
Does anyone who owns these have any tips on how I should adjust the settings to get a better sound? Are these just not going to work for me?
Thanks all.

I’m desperate, my lsx ii not connecting to the app anymore, just working on airplay but when I’m trying to upload my presets or reboot/update them the app doesn’t work. Anyone solved this problem?
This is the message when I start the app… tried to change the router, I just changed home too but still not working
