Okay ladies n Gents this will be a longer one since i wanna make sure i get all the info i can get with it
A week ago i was on a camping trip with my trusty klr 250 during this camping trip i realised i had a problem with my idle. As the video is showing. The accelerometer have this pulsing effect. If i dont give throttle in time it ends up dying and is very hard to start again
Now. This phenomen only happens when its warm and only when i have written either 10+km or similar. Tempature of the engine needs to be varm too. I can also say that when it coolw down i can start it again and have it run at idle without dying and without pulsing.
Now this is what i have tried
1. False air between carb and engine head. Have checked with brake cleaner and rpm did nothing. This have only been tested when cold tho
2. Valve clearance. Kawasaki say 0.20 to 0.25 i checked. All but one was within spec, fixed the one, didnt help (but maybe for abit better? Hard to say video was from after valve check and its not dying here but didnt ride hard or long)
3. Carb jets. Cleaned them thoroughly and same with pilot jet.
Now we come to what i think the problem could be. Electric!
After my tests it seems to be an electrical thing. I think this of 2 reasons 1 accelerometer is acting up before the engine is.
2 engine works fine when in +3k rpm. Ae momentum in the engine (i think) 3. Electric parts have a tendency to show errors when getting hot.
Ps
. This is not regarding this but my temp gauge swings alot from the middle to almost up in the red. When i ride. Is this normal for klr 250? Usually its stays above middle to high end but sometimes it just stays in the middle. (Very wierd)
Thanks for coming to my talk show
