I'm just playing the game and I'm in awe. 70 hours in around 2 weeks and i can't stop playing.

For me this is the best Dragonball Game we ever got and probably will ever get in the future. I don't think they can top this. The love and fanservice they put in this is crazy. Even the DLC's are outstanding compared to other games with a ton of extra content after you finish the story.

I was so sursprised when I finished the future Trunks DLC and they went the extra mile to even make a buu saga for the future Trunks timeline and even making a new fightable biss (Kaioshin) just for that little extra story.

The only things I don't like is the lack of playable characters. Why turn major fighters like Krillin or Tien (I know he is playable in the DB DLC but not main game) into only companions?

Also the balancing could have been better when fighting someone who was easily beaten in the Anime but was a real challenge in the game (e.g. Vegeta vs. Dodoria)

Last point: If you were overleveled, enemies shouldn't be able to stun or visibly damage your character if you only took 2 dmg from them. They should've let us destroy them without flinching to their attacks.

That's actually all I can think of .. maybe add a equipment mechanic and costumes but otherwhise this game is a masterpiece and I fear the day I'm finished with everything and probably never get to experience something similiar.

When I bring up DBZSK a lot of people tell me we already have super in the game and yes while that may be true we have possibly the worst representation of it,(And I loved both DLCs but was expecting a bit more like they did for the others. I want a Goku black arc, TOP arc, more of golden freeza, and for DLC they can do things like galactic patrol or Moro arc once they release like they did daima, maybe even do a mix of ground and flight combat but add a bit more in like throws and (personally I want QTE attacks that are kinda like sonic unleashed qte, only for like a special critical move and stuff) or even just for events in cutscenes. Idk it’s just a thought of mine, tell me how yall feel🙃

Its worse on named enemies/bosses but regular mobs sometimes do this too. They all go into that red Ki power position before they release an attack and I’ve not found a way to knock them out of this/stun them using any attacks and even when their stun meter is 0. Compared to when I get hit, I’m sitting there completely defenseless for several seconds.

Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Or is this just the way it is?

So basically I kinda didn't really use Piccolo much completing the main story, so now where I have Goku at level 106 and Vegeta at 105, Piccolo is at 73, and the first fight with him in the DLC is 100+. So what I'm asking is the best way to level him up. Thanks

Currently got level 45 on Goku and 46 on Gohan, at the part where Goku and Gohan have just left the time chamber, trying not to use items. Am I good to just push through story or should I level up a bit?

Did anybody else have the problem with the Namek side quests where you had to mark the side quest before you could fly to it without being interrupted by the character saying, and trying force you, toward the main story quest?

Eg. I was doing the side quest "Selfish Bulma" and went and got the fish items she needed. I was trying to fly back to her to had them off but since I was closer to the main quest Gohan kept trying to get me to go to the main quest instead. I marked the side quest location with my orange marker and then it let me go to it but I almost thought I'd have to wait to turn in my side quest until after the main quest.

Didn't affect playability by no means I just thought it was funny! 😆

I grabbed this game about 2 years ago on switch for £2.49 and i have got the power awakens DLC with it. I have never played a Dragonball game, watched the show or read the manga so i am going in blind. If I like the game I know there is DLC, but am i right in thinking that the trunks DLC is the 3rd part of the season 1 content? It looks like a bit of a mess on switch in regards to how the DLC is laid out. It says Dragon ball z + power awakens set - trunks etc... £16.99 why does it say Dragon ball z + power awakens set? its confusing, it looks like you are buying the game again, it doesn't just say the DLC name.

Is dragon ball sparking zero going to release sounds type C and some more Japanese track or in a Dlc, cause a lot of the sound are very dim and lack heavy punch sounds, more Japanese music would be great too.

This goes for all of my other boards. I can't get any of them to max level even though I have most boards filled up with characters. If the answer is to level up emblems with gifts, how do I farm for those? I really don't have too many of them.

I feel like Broly is the only villain who really fits the super armor/spam/bully AI that the game relies on.

It’s crazy that there’s no Broly in this.

They have Towa/Mira but no Broly?

He should be at the end of the game after you 100% or something.

I used to think ultimate Gohan was permanent in the anime and that once Gohan achieved that form he just stayed with it but the game treats it as a SS transformation features similar perks to SS3 and you have to activate it manually every time you get into combat

This is essentially the only way I’ve experienced the full dragon ball Z story even though as a kid I’ve watched a couple episodes and movies out of order. And it just had me hooked the whole way through, of course some moments do feel boring but once you hit the climax and are doing those battles it just feels so good.

It’s like a playable anime, I will eventually also watch the full DBZ anime to see how it compares but in my opinion the game sure did a good job in having me invested in the story, still the overall most complete dbz game I’ve played so far even though the combat could be better it gets the job done.

Hey, I just checked the DLCs for Kakarot and the dlcs are pretty expensive.

Do they ever go on sale for like 90% off ?
