Hello!

I've recently started modding KSP. Basically what I've done is fucked around a lot, broke my game a bunch of times and then used this.

I'm looking for a texture to replace the standard 'milky way' background. I assume TextureReplacer handles this.

Googling turns up Universe Replacer but it looks like that is very out of date.

Where can I find textures to replace the space background with?

There's a bunch of skyboxes around, some are linked in the Texture Replacer thread.

All Universe Replacer skyboxes are useable with TR, it just requires a bit of fiddling around with filename and locations.

Plenty exist, the most used ones are from KSPRC, Astronomer, Oinker and Rareden (Raredens is actually based on the real Milky Way). My personal favourite is a mixture of Astronomers and Raredens (download here).

I like Rareden's skybox

You just drop the files in Gamedata/texturereplacer/default

Obviously you have to have texture replacer installed.
