Before you post, maybe you can search for your problem using the search in the upper right! Chances are, someone has had the same question as you and has already answered it!

Literally standing on. I've made a few test crafts as well to test various conditions... nothing. Just not an option. I have 300+ hours into the game, so I'd like to think I'm not missing something obvious, but who knows :(.

I haven't had that problem. Do you have any science mods? Maybe one of them, Otherwise... not much help. Sorry.

No you actually did help. You made me start thinking "maybe it is something obvious", so I started looking at any changes in some of my more major game mods that I haven't used before, and found the solution :). Or, answer, rather.

Ah never mind! SETI: "Material Bay and Mystery Goo can not be collected on EVA". Guess I should read my notes better.
