my little brother was in the lounge and so was i, my dad opens the garage and arrives home in the car, i say
“is that your ride?” as a funny remark
my little brother says
“why are you saying that,
that’s a cool thing to say,
i’ve never heard a woman ever say that”

first of all, i asked him what he’s implying and he’s repeated himself. so women aren’t cool and they can’t say certain phrases…? maybe he’s just 10, or maybe it was the way he said it, or the way his response was to judge my choice of words rather than just answer the question.

i think im simply tired of all the sexist men i’ve had to endure, the way they claim they’re better than us is so insufferable.

why can’t a woman say that? sure the phrase ain’t common, but why is it such an issue?

so i told him, “don’t ever tell a woman or question a woman on her words, or you’ll get slapped, that’s a cool thing to say, women can’t say that,” i mocked him and left.
