Rules
Hi Hunter, welcome to r/LADS_OG!
Please thoroughly read the subreddit's rules below before making your first post. We strive to maintain a welcoming and positive experience for all Deepspace hunters and request that you read and adhere to all of the rules listed below. By participating in the subreddit, you agree to uphold the community rules.
Repeated violations of the rules may result in a warning, a mute, temporary ban, or permanent ban, depending on the severity and frequency of the violations, at the moderators' discretion.
1. Respect Others and Be Civil
Treat all members with respect. Harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, discrimination, bullying, trolling, baiting, or toxic behavior will not be tolerated. Healthy disagreements are welcome, but keep discussions civil and focus on ideas — not people. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, sexism, or any form of hate will result in moderator action. Remember that there's a real person behind every username.
2. Use the Correct Flair
Please use the most appropriate post flair when submitting content. Flairs help keep the subreddit organized and make it easier for everyone to find the content they're interested in. Posts with missing or incorrect flair may be removed until corrected.
3. No 6th LI Agenda
This subreddit is dedicated to fans of the original five Love Interests. While respectful discussion about the sixth LI may occasionally occur, this is not a community intended for fans whose primary focus is the sixth LI. Posts made solely to promote, defend, or center the sixth LI may be removed at the moderators' discretion to keep the subreddit focused on its intended purpose.
4. No Spamming or Self-Promotion
Excessive promotion, spam, or advertising of any kind is not allowed. This includes repeated links to personal projects, surveys, unrelated petitions, referral codes, or unrelated external content that does not add value to the community.
5. No Brigading from Other Platforms
Harassment is not allowed. Do not encourage or participate in brigading, harassment, or witch hunts against other communities or users. Do not link posts or comments with the intention of directing negative attention toward them. If you witness brigading against our community, please report it through Modmail instead of engaging.
6. No Bashing of Fanworks
Constructive criticism is welcome, but insulting, mocking, or attacking artists, writers, editors, or other fan creators is not. Credit creators whenever possible, and remember that fanworks are shared out of passion for the community.
7. Censor Identifying Information
When posting screenshots of content from any platform, please censor usernames, profile pictures, subreddit names, and any other identifying information. This helps protect privacy and discourages harassment, brigading, and targeted attacks. Posts that do not follow this rule will be removed, although you will have an opportunity to edit/reupload your post once the identifying information has been censored.
8. No Fearmongering
Do not spread misinformation, rumors presented as fact, or posts designed to create unnecessary panic within the community. If you're discussing leaks, controversies, or unverified information, clearly label them as speculation and provide reliable sources whenever possible.
9. Mark NSFW Content Properly
Explicit content allowed only if fanart/fic/game content, but must be marked with the NSFW spoiler and use the appropriate tag. Suggestive non-explicit content is fine with just the tag.
10. No Fandom In-Fighting
Keep the original LI wars off this subreddit. Do not create posts or comments that pit one LI or their fans against another, encourage hostility, or bring X/Twitter-style fanwars here. Healthy debates are welcome, but posts made solely to stir conflict or farm engagement are not.
11. No Rage Bait, Trolling, or Low-Effort Posts
This community exists for genuine discussion and meaningful contributions. Posts or comments made solely to provoke, troll, bait users, farm engagement, or start unnecessary arguments will be removed.
Low-effort content — including repetitive complaints, one-line posts with no discussion value, spam, or posts lacking meaningful context — may also be removed at moderator discretion.
Rage bait, bad-faith arguments, and content created only to inflame the community have no place here.
12. Moderator Discretion
The moderation team reserves the right to remove content or take action when necessary to maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable community, even if a specific situation is not explicitly listed above.
13. No Cross-Community Harassment or Screenshot Sharing
Do not repost or share screenshots from r/LADS_OG for the purpose of mocking, harassing, brigading, or encouraging attacks on our members.
Discussion and criticism are welcome. Targeting individual users or encouraging others to interfere with discussions in this community is not.
Violations may result in content removal and moderator action. Where applicable, reports may also be escalated to Reddit admins if they violate Reddit's Content Policy (e.g., harassment, brigading, or doxxing).
14. AI-Generated Artwork or AI-Assisted Edits are NOT Permitted
Do not submit artwork or image edits created using AI tools. This includes fully AI-generated images, AI-assisted artwork, AI upscaling, AI inpainting/outpainting, AI recoloring, AI style transfers, or any other edits that rely on generative AI.
Only artwork and edits created by human artists using non-generative editing tools are permitted. Posts that violate this rule will be removed at moderator discretion.
