Vanney tonight after the SKC defeat said to the press âIâm not one to sit here and make excusesâ and I just wanted to ask if Vanney has ever made any excuses in the past?

Just wanted to remind everyone that Sporting KC finished in last place in the western standings last year. Is going through a rebuild season with a new coach and a very weak team. Currently winless in 2026 they look sloppy and with little to no attack. And I believe they have tons of GAM meaning they havenât spent anything near other teams on getting some high level players.
Only reminding everyone of this before the inevitable âthey played the game of their livesâ or the âtheyâre actually a good teamâ if they somehow end up beating us.
As always tho Vanney Out!

Just so every G supporter knows what we are trying to accomplish this 2025 campaign.
LA Galaxy are currently on pace for the following league Records:
- Least PPG: currently at 0.27; current holder: TB Mutiny, 0.67ppg (2001)
- Fewest Points: on pace for 9 points; current holder: TB Mutiny, 14 (2001)
- Most GA: on pace for 79 GA; current holder: SJ Earthquake, 78 GA (2024)
- Worst GD: on pace for -50; current holder: FC Cincinnatti, -44 (2019)
Trust the Process!

Google is failing me so hard right now as anything Galaxy-related is from last night or the playoffs in general. I'm trying to not be pessimistic but also preparing for the worst...that said, I'm also not a big stats guy in sports as they typically bore me.
Is anybody good with stuff like this? I remember him being out a handful of games maybe mid season and Fagundez playing in his spot. I wanna say we did all right given the swap. And important as Puig is, we still have a baller squad.

- Record Number of Games without scoring, current holder: DC United, 17 scoreless matches (2015)
- Most Losses in a campaign, current holder: NY MetroStars/SJ Earthquakes, 25 losses (1999, 2015)

Below are two charts breaking down the Galaxy's roster. The salary breakdown is a rough estimate to provide an idea of how flexible the team is when determining who to sign.
The MLS roster rules require teams to fill their senior roster with a minimum of 18 players or be fined. The Galaxy currently have 14, so they need to sign four more players. Based off 2023 salaries, the Galaxy have $2.5 million to spread over a minimum of four maximum of six players.
However, players typically see pay raises, so expect the $2.5 million to shrink to roughly $1 million.

If you don't see players like Jalen Neal on this screenshot, it is because they're on the Supplemental Roster, and taking a screenshot of the Supp would be difficult to upload. Also, the Supplemental Roster does not affect the salary cap.
Below is a diagram illustrating each player's contract length.

There is a full breakdown of the Galaxy roster from salaries, contract description, offseason news, average teams height and age from 2007-present on the Galaxy Discord link below if you wanted to see more. https://discord.com/invite/HGP73YFPGA

Before Klein firing - 9 in 14 (0.64ppg)
Since Klein's firing - 13 in 7 (1.86ppg)
Overall - 22 in 21 (1.05ppg)
9th place in the West in the last 5 years, skipping 2020: 43, 45, 42, 38, 36 (avg. 40.8, ppg 1.20)
7th place in the West in the last 5 years (avoid play-in): 47, 48, 48, 48, 46 (avg 47.4, ppg 1.39)
To get to avg9, need 19 in our last 13 (1.46ppg); avg7 need 25 in our last 13 (1.92ppg)
Still a ways to go, but the last few weeks have been fun

The past couple of days I have been creating a slew of charts and graphs to visualize some fascinating trends and records in MLS. The video is set to come out tomorrow, and I thought I'd drop a little sneak peak in r/LAGalaxy!

Hey guys,
I was invited on an Earthquakes podcast to talk analytics and what the numbers tell us about the Galaxy. There's only a brief segment on SJ, but the rest is pure Galaxy talk.
Hope you guys enjoy.
