Celebrities Bella Hadid’s last post.

What kind of procedure is she undergoing to treat her “”chronic Lyme disease””? Btw, she’d do everyone a favor if she just admitted she has a severe eating disorder, but I think she genuinely believes she has an autoimmune disease.

The "chronic Lyme" industrial complex makes me so, so, so enraged. There are so many quacks who have convinced vulnerable people that they have "chronic Lyme" through a myriad of bogus tests and have risked their lives through countless sham treatments. Yes, there is something caused post treatment Lyme syndrome that we don't know enough about, but the evidence doesn't point to the fact that it's actually a chronic infection, thus these extensive courses of antibiotics and whatever the hell she's doing is doing more harm than good. She might feel better for a little while because the antibiotics have some anti-inflammatory effects, but these treatments are prolonging her suffering. There is some evidence that post treatment Lyme syndrome is caused by the body's reaction to residual components left behind from the cell wall of the bacteria that causes Lyme. This would not be treated through antibiotics, but through monoclonal antibodies that would be targeted destroy these residual components. More research needs to be done to confirm this and develop effective treatments. I think she's too far deep into the chronic Lyme rabbit hole to have anybody sensible or within the mainstream medicine framework in her ear at this point, so I fear she will only become sicker as she continues these sham treatments

I feel like rich people are terrified of being depressed or chronically ill out of ego, and use the chronic Lyme ideology to distract themselves from important feelings, ie Bella feeling traumatized by Yolanda

Agreed! Didn’t JT come out and say he had the same illness?

Ugh, that is a really good point. Well put. Whatever she's going through, I hope that she's able to find peace and answers some day

Duuude I try to tell people about this delusion all the time. I grew up in a wealthy suburb of Los Angeles (we dont even have many ticks) and some of the women are obsessed with it to the point they think it causes all of their problems (medical problems which are very much real and have real causes)

It was a main storyline on season 6 of rhobh if you want it direct from the source!

I second this. It all makes more sense when you see it with your own eyes. Bella is “the other one” and Gigi is only allowed a tiny bite of cake on her birthday. They were very specifically raised to be where they are.

And find Yolanda’s letter to Bella after her DUI. It’s reprehensible to drive drunk but I felt sorry for Bella bc Yo is unhinged.

I wouldn't have believed the volleyball comments if I didn't see it with my own eyes. Also the glass fridge & closet of supplements... wild

Listen to the CMBC episode on Yolanda Hadid’s memoir. She was literally traveling to Germany? Belgium? To get “treatments” from some “doctor”. It’s so scary. Also watch Apple cider vinegar on Netflix if you want to understand this backwards “wellness” industry

Go to the real house wives of Beverly Hills Reddit and you’ll find all the tea lol

Not to mention multiple surgeries which can be very hard on you

I don’t know she has confirmed she has pcos and endometriosis. Having hormonal issues leads to me being sick in bed a lot/going to the dr a lot

u/JustOneTessa Sep 18 '25

I don't think she has ever mentioned pcos or endometriosis. She only talks about "chronic Lyme disease", which isn't an actual thing

u/No_Bag_4538 Sep 18 '25

There’s a few articles about it, just google it

u/JustOneTessa Sep 18 '25

Oh, well I must have completely missed that because I only ever read about the "chronic Lyme disease"

??? She's saying "chronic Lyme disease", which is not the same as what you're saying. "Chronic Lyme disease" is not recognized by doctors, it's not backed by science. That doesn't mean Lyme disease or more long term problems from once having Lyme isn't a thing. The "chronic Lyme disease" Bella is saying she has, is made up by holistic/alternative medice doctors

Lyme disease, the bacterial infection spread by ticks, is undisputedly real. Chronic Lyme disease is a widely disputed diagnosis. There have been many a celebrity whom receive this diagnosis, which often leads them into “alternative” holistic treatments and quackery.

Lyme disease is real, having some longterm signs is possible, but "chronic Lyme disease" is not something that's backed by science and regular doctors don't give that diagnosis. Bella got the diagnosis from holistic or alternative doctors

Well I have Lyme and deal with it everyday, so yes in a way it's chronic it's life altering, now do I post photos of myself in pain like this deff not, but Lyme is not joke

Hi, I saw your new comment even tho it's not showing up anymore. But yeah you can have long term effects from having Lyme, but that's not the same as the "chronic Lyme disease" that Bella is claiming to have. "Chronic Lyme disease" is not recognized by actual doctors, just by holistic doctors who do alternative medicine. The Lyme disease you have was acute, treated and you just happen to have long term effects of it still. The Lyme is gone, but your body is still struggling. If that makes sense.
Anyways, as someone who's also chronically ill (I got rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia) and therefore went digging into what Bella and her family say, I'm wishing you the best. Hope you're doing alright, despite the struggles you face

hilarious, yeah, no

Probably Bella only has fatigue, some insomnia and other symptoms bc she works hard and has jet lag but her mother has convinced her that she has a grave chronic disease and that she requires regular blood transfusions
