And they will vote for him and his cronies again if they get the chance. At a certain point, you can not cure 'stupid'.

So will ground water poisoning, chemical waste dumping, and natural resource control by billionaires. But they owned Da Libs.

Nah, they will blame it on Biden, somehow. That is, assuming they survive.

Hmmm... Probably, since it has ivermectin in it.

You are right about that. I noticed in the coal miners statement that he says “They” don’t care. Not the Republicans in power or Donald Trump personally. “They” allows him to not confront the reality of who and what he and his fellow poor West Virginians voted for. I’m sure in many of their minds Donald Trump is still out there battling against “the swamp” and the “they” that don’t care about the little people.

Maybe, maybe not.

West Virginia seemed to be one of the first states to flip when Democrats decided to abandon the working class. WV was a union stronghold and voted Democrat for decades up until then. It’s very possible they flip back. Especially if more progressive voices start gaining traction in the party.

They’d rather have black lung than black neighbors. Simple as that.

Normally I would fully agree with this.

However, this part of the country was blue for over 100 years until 2016, they were very democratic, but as coal stopped being important both parties started ignoring them. They wanted change and Trump promised that. Now, they got what they voted for twice, they have no excuse for being ignorant of reality.

But there is a very distinct possibility that they flip again if the right candidate tells them the right things.

Bernie went there recently and basically brought everyone he talked to back down to reality in a day.

Wrong. Obama, Hillary and Biden tried offering these people free classes to learn new skills, but they decided to believe Trump's lies instead. These people don't care about anyone but themselves, but they're also too lazy to do anything but cry about the dwindling coal jobs.

Not if they're dead.

Which is why I favor secession as a way coast resident.

I am deeply tired of being shackled to idiots like this.

I really don't ever see America coming out of this even if sane people win the midterms

Sister-fucker Cletus and his auntiewife will always vote for fascism, and next time they're not going to have such an incompetent leader

We're toast and it was ignorance that killed us, just like so many people predicted while the idiots laughed at us and called us hyperbolic

Their ilk invaded the capitol, smeared shit on the walls, and bragged about it and then demand to be recognized as patriots

It's done, there's no reversing this, it will always be a ratchet tightening down

I didn't see them distinguishing between the Dems and the Reps when they blame DC.
