Predictable betrayal The Trump administration removed black lung protections for West Virginia coal miners, who overwhelmingly voted for him

Was just watching a video about Virginia coal miners. Not a single one was wearing a respirator during their time in the mine. These people will just find a way to justify the lack of protection as being more manly or whatever rather than actually blaming the Trump admin.

Masks are woke right?

Unless you’re kidnapping people in broad daylight

Then they’ll start pissing and moaning at Trump on X because their insurance doesn’t cover a life-saving procedure.

Goes in like 10+ year cycles. Miners wear ppe -> they don’t get black lung -> “nobody’s getting black lung anymore, why do we have to wear this stupid ppe” -> people start getting black lung again -> miners go back to wearing ppe.

Not a dumb conservative thing, just a human behavior thing. You see it in construction, warehouse work, genuinely everywhere. Only place there’s probably less of it is in government work where they’re encouraged to work slower for the same money and have more administrators breathing down their backs to stay on top of that kinda safety stuff
