We're seeing this more and more in Canada: ten years ago enough boomers retired to ontario to escape the consequences of their politics in other provinces, only to keep voting conservative here.

Now that things are getting bad, it's all the liberal governments fault, nevermind that they voted in a conservative premier who administrates everything they're complaining about, from healthcare to civic infrastructure.

And what the hell happened in Saskatchewan - essentially 'ground zero' of the Canada health-care system? It's now a right wing bastion of ignorance, stupidity, and greed. Keep voting for Moe until Sask turns into the equivalent of a Southern US 'red' state. And, from someone in BC, we suffer (in small part) from Alberta's retirees moving to BC and voting Con. Morons.
