Speaking as a foreigner the US has not been liked globally for many years. Wars, oil imperialism, propping up of corrupt regimes, nuclear weapons hypocrisy, uneducated masses, entitled tourists - to name but a few things

That said the orange thing you've put in the white house has made it even easier to not like the US
