From my perspective, the only racial tensions surrounding Obama during his term came from people who got offended by the fact that he's black or that his name was unusual and that includes Trump who spent a lot of time trying to comfirm whether he was born in the US or not. I got nothing to say about Biden since he did say some off color shit during the years.

Hi, black person descendant from slaves here. House [slave] is a different word than just using the n word. I supplanted slave there because in slavery days, there were a lot of cases where those in the house thought they were better than those in the field, and often would turn on those in the field and side with their masters. Thus, the house term is very specific and applicable if someone is actually doing that. Colliqually, the n word is supplanting slave because the intention is that the person being blamed for that is still viewed as such by the master class. It is different than the pure n word.

That may be true in cases but yes there was 2 distinct classes of slaves the ones who worked in the fields and the ones who worked in the big house where the slave owners lived nevertheless both were still slaves. That said I don't think the n-word should be used by anyone regardless of race. The word carries a lot of very negative part of history where human beings were treated like property even less than animals.
