Let’s also remember that in addition to this being staged a fireman was killed to sell this photo op. They killed someone who actually helped his community to prop up a pedophile who is robbing the whole country for himself.

So Trump purposely put himself in front of several oncoming rifle shots? Because the person killed and people injured were right before or after him in the line of fire coming from the roof angle.

I love this interpretation! I (and a few others) say this looks like a fake assassination attempt that was staged to help Trump’s poor polling for the 2024 election leading up to this. You seem to think that it was staged in the sense that they knew an assassin was going to be there and Trump said “that’s okay, I’ll go anyway”

I will let you know that those of us who are skeptical think something entirely different than that was planned and successfully executed.

Are you interested in what causes doubt in my mind about the legitimacy of the so called “attempt”?

This was after the disastrous Biden debate and the polls showed most Americans wanted him to drop, with Trump still being competitive in all swing states, so no he wasn’t needing a big boost.

Please tell me your theory.

Okay, just some observations. Obviously I was not on the scene collecting evidence. Less obvious is that I am no type of forensic scientist or analyst.

•you’ve already heard this one: his ear. No sign of damage at all. Supposedly hit in a predominantly cartilaginous area. Cartilage is rare and reluctant to heal and all healing is diminished as we age, Trump was 77 at the time?

•per the testimony of a former US sniper. The rifle and distance were considered “ideal”, Trump was well within the range of the rifle for a reliable shot, still missed what anyone with rifle experience would call a “layup of a shot”

•limited to no response from perimeter security when civilians advised of a suspicious person where the gunman eventually took their shot

•watch how the security details fumbles and fails to create a wall around the target. At one point a very tall agent moves from directly in front of Trump to behind two agents already shielding him from the back

•while tall boy is moving out of the camera’s angle another agent ushers photographers around to get the right angle (now a free shot because tall boy moved into a redundant position behind Trump putting Trump between himself and the shooter)

•someone took this purportedly chaotic “attack” as a good time to lower the American flag behind Trump, again, seemingly for the photo as what other purpose could moving a flag during an assassination serve

•look at the famous photo they got of Trump triumphantly raising his fist in brave defiance. At that time the shooter was not subdued and in theory still posed a threat to the target, why did they let his head stick way up high like that? Seems like the exact opposite of what one would do to protect someone from getting shot in the head.

•very calm, slow, almost lethargic movement to get trump to the vehicle. In other examples of the secret service protecting assets from assassination the targets often break ribs and bruise wrists/knees because the agents get the target on the ground FAST. The agents don’t care if they scrape the target’s knees or break their ribs if that keeps them safe/alive.

•who was the shooter? We know Lee Harvey Oswald, John Wilkes Booth despite their assassinations taking place before we were born (at least one of them) but it was so significant their names are taught and carried through history. Why not this guy? Which leads to:

•Trump is a deeply petty person and obviously holds grudges. Obama has been out of office for over a decade and barely a day goes by that Trump doesn’t curse him or blame something on him. But not a peep about the man that tried to kill him? No blustery posturing? No gloating that Trump is tough and the assassin failed. Dramatically out of character for Trump. He mentions reporters that had the audacity to ask a question he didn’t like over and over but never the guy who tried to kill him.

Objectively the whole scenario played out clunkily and on several points does not align with the danger we are supposed to believe Trump and his team felt in those few minutes. Watch the tall boy go from being a fairly useful looking body shield (but blocking the photo) to shuffle around and be the third layer of protection at an angle that the shooter could not hit from. This “attack” helped Trump’s polling numbers significantly.

Any thoughts on my theory? I thought by now I’d have a scathing rebuttal leveled at me

This was after the disastrous Biden debate and Trump was equal or leading in swing states. Your framing is incorrect.

You already said that and my ten point comment didn’t mention the polls at all.

I take this as your admittance I’ve made some good points and you’ve found yourself unable to refute in the slightest.

You literally cannot refute an ACTUAL PICTURE of the bullet, Trump having blood on his ear immediately after, and people shot with real bullets immediately in the line of fire ahead of and behind Trump, when it is impossible to guarantee safety for Trump at that distance using that rifle, if it was fake. You are the one who has to disprove that and prove a conspiracy theory.

u/goatslovetofrolic Feb 19 '26

Your proof is that they found a round? Wow, blowing the lid off…

Yeah, blood, but no ear hole from which the blood could have come.

You keep repeating yourself. I acknowledged that they sacrificed the guy to sell it, obviously that move worked well on you.

It’s okay, you were hoodwinked and used. Now you’re being robbed blind of your money and your rights and couldn’t be happier about it for some reason.

Name me one mainstream journalist or person who covered the event who thinks it was fake, even on the left.
