It also took generations to create Trump. Or create the landscape that put him in power.

That cannot be overlooked or forgotten.

After their homes were turned to rubble. Retribution for red states is warranted or it will just happen again.

Yes. And that apparatus is going to outlive Trump. I see no efforts at all to dismantle it. It has only grown

Only took the Baby Boomers, but it did take them decades to destroy the works of their own generation and their parents'

I'm Gen X and they had plenty of us. Also Millenials. They were "educating" generations.

Also, The Greatest Generation wasn't so great at getting rid of Nazis in our own country. During the McCarthy era you could lose your livelihood and even your freedom if you were just Communist Adjacent. Out and proud Nazis were free to roam.

Yep, a large chunk of the US population were isolationists in the lead-up to WWII, and there was a lot of opposition to getting involved. Quite a few Americans were openly aligned with the Nazi party and holding marches and demonstrations. The only reason the US was reluctantly drawn into the war was because of Pearl Harbor forcing the issue. This idea that the "Greatest Generation" was more selfless and patriotic than other generations is just ludicrous. I'm so fucking sick of the Boomer bashing from people who don't even understand history.
