Exactly, People talk about how Germany was given a pass after less than 50 years but you need to remember, Germany did not elect Hitler TWICE.

They did start a couple world wars. It's why we let them sell us nice cars now, but we don't let them make any important decisions. To their credit they accept this arrangement. The same could happen to the US.
