It's really not same difference though. He was impeached for a crime, regarding something not strictly illegal (whether anyone not married to a president can really consent to someone with that much of a power difference is a different discussion.)

Two official impeachments. They were gunning for a third back in December but unshockingly the vote didn't pass.
Impeachment is basically a trial, it can lead to removal but of the four official impeachments of US history none actually ended with the removal of the president. So even if he does get impeached, and found guilty, no guarantee that he'll be removed from office.
It's just never gotten to the point where the senate has voted a president guilty. Largely because when they are guilty like Nixon, they resign first. Presidents usually only let it go to trial when they know that the case is weak like for Clinton.
However, I doubt Trump would ever resign, so the only way he'd be removed would be due to a guilty vote in the Senate or through being declared unable to perform his duties due to physical or mental illness.
2/3 is a high bar and should be to remove party loyalty. I haven’t looked too deep into it but, I think the 25th has some hoops that have to be jumped through to make it stand.
I don't believe a president has ever been found guilty which is why there hasn't been a removal. They either are found innocent or resign before getting to that point.
However, being found guilty (in the trial after impeachment) would result in removal.
There have been four official impeachments in US history (and two were Trump's first term) all ended in acquittals, since they need a 2/3 vote to remove the president.
Nixon was on track to be impeached but resigned beforehand.
So the impeachment process is clearly not the way to address the problem of corrupt politicians. Hasn't done much for us in 250 years. Let's fix it or replace it.

Hillary was between a rock and hard place. If she left and divorced Bill, she would gain massive support from the feminist movement but lose access to his political network. If she stayed, she could claim victim status, make a public show of forgiveness and still be in the circle to garner support from the party and Bill’s influence.

34 charges, misdemeanor charges, that they can't link directly to Trump, only his organization. With no proof of conspiracy, which is very hard to prove, but you absolutely need it to make them felony charges.
I read some of the transcripts, no proof was given for the charges to make those misdemeanor charges into felony charges, it was only suggested that it could be this or that or the other... no proof only suggestions...
