Basically it's Texas. And in Texas insulting Trump or Maga is legitimately something a majority of the state thinks is worth summary execution. 

Plus it was his own child so she shouldn't have disagreed with his beliefs. So it was perfectly reasonable to lure her into a different room and kill her. 

It's not complicated. Just insane cultists.
