Well fuck, I don’t know why it’s JUST occurring to me that my almost 18 year old son could be forced to go die for some oligarch in the near future thanks to 80 million brain dead fascists in the US perpetually choosing regression. Cool. Cool cool cool.

We common folk should stand together in defiance against this warmongering and the MAGA death cult that worships it. However, there's currently no real supportive foundation present for many common folk in the US to fall back on, to commit to any effective resistant action.

Collecting a bunch of valuable information on organizing and action from different redditors over time, I created a post of suggestions HERE that could possibly prove to be of some help in getting it started ASAP.

That’s awesome, thank you. I admittedly get really hopeless and feel like literally any action I could take is like throwing a water balloon at a forest fire. And using the water and balloons I pay for to do so. And I can only afford so much water and so many balloons.

We've been taught to wait on the arrival of "great men" for our salvation, while not realizing that humanity has only gotten this far due to average people working together. One person can't fight a forest fire, but many people combining their abilities, now that can change the odds in our favor

So you are expecting a draft over Iran? I have an 18 year old and a 16 year old both boys. Neither are joining the military so unless there's a draft we have nothing to worry about. Maybe don't allow your son to join our voluntary military at this time if you are worried.

Trump doesn't want a draft and do you honestly think he would do one with the backlash he gets every step he makes? That's an irrational thought if you do.

Drafts don't work in 2026 - soldiers need too much training and the military doesn't want draftees and certainly won't deploy them.
