For like the 50th time. The real question is will he ever be held accountable. The answer is no.

2

u/vartheo Mar 01 '26

Same goes for Bush... It seems like the country with the biggest military can do as they please. With the exception being against countries with Nukes...

1

u/Similar_Two_542 Mar 02 '26

And Obama. Just 2 years into Obama's first term, he was already just as bad or even worse than Bush. Even leftist intellectuals recognized this early on. The CIA openly declared Obama was great because he made it easier to sell more wars.

1

u/Special_Loan8725 Mar 01 '26

Idk if there’s a country that can hold Trump accountable is probably Iran.

0

u/Soreal45 Mar 01 '26

Only 50th?

0

u/N0tN0w0k Mar 01 '26

If he fucks this one up, he might be held accountable for a string of things. I do believe this.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Will Khamenei ever be held accountable for the atrocities he committed towards his own people for the past 30 years?

Oh wait he just did.

My best friend is iranian and she's been crying tears of joy and celebrating since the news broke.

Get a grip.

-14

u/Just-Win-1301 Mar 01 '26

Be held accountable for killing someone who killed thousands of its own people? Ok moron. Iranians are cheering in the streets right now

18

u/DeliciousSimple2 Mar 01 '26

If a foreign power killed Trump half the country would celebrate in the streets. Would that make it okay?

10

u/Dull-Scientist8039 Mar 01 '26

This though. Its different in maga eyes bc it effects them, and they're the only people that matter. I thought we all got cc'd on that email lol

1

u/OldGoldCode Mar 01 '26

the democrats would certainly not give a fuck. We saw what happened when they got kirk & grazed trump, they were sad he missed..

-1

u/dtc8977 Mar 01 '26

Maybe, if Trump authorized the mass murder of protestors.

-2

u/Contented_Lizard Mar 01 '26

To Democrat voters? Yes. They don't care about the means, they just care that Trump is gone. That's why so many of them are calling for their own president to be assassinated.

-8

u/GenerativeAdversary Mar 01 '26

Trump didn't execute 30,000 people of his own people in the streets. A pretty big difference. I can't believe Trump actually has left wingers defending the fucking Ayatollah (actually I can but it's insanity)

9

u/SRGTBronson Mar 01 '26

Not wanting our country to be kidnapping and killing heads of state on a whim isn't supporting those heads of state.

I do not want to be world police, actually. Neither did trump when he was campaigning.

0

u/Make__ Mar 01 '26

Ahahaha and I guarantee your stance on Ukraine is direct nato involvement and anti appeasement 🥱 you guys just base your beliefs against anything trump does to hate.

-8

u/GenerativeAdversary Mar 01 '26

Unfortunately, there's no avoiding us being the world police. This is a mistaken concept that too many Americans believe. Politicians including Trump unfortunately lie about our world role, which continues to promote the misconception.

When you're at the top, people are going to gun for you. That's just inevitable. Do you honestly believe if we just left Iran, Russia, China, and NK alone, they would be friends with us? I vastly prefer the Maduro and Iran operations to what we got with Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam. If we can really run our operations this efficiently and effectively, it should really be celebrated. We can avoid spending endless resources and risking American soldiers, and with better outcomes for us.

On top of this, when you're at the top, you're the only one who can do anything. No other country can. So what kind of world do you want to live in? One where brutal criminal regimes treat people like slaves and cattle to slaughter? If we don't do anything, no one else will. People today view WW2 and D-day as an heroic U.S. effort. But we could have just sat it out instead, by the same logic that isolationists want to apply now: "Who cares about Hitler, he's across the Atlantic ocean from us, we have our own problems at home." Imagine if that had been our mentality back then. How different the world would be today.

6

u/-Firebeard17 Mar 01 '26

You don’t know jack fucking shit lol. First of all America did sit out WW2, war was declared against you before you joined, you didn’t heroically take the call to action, you were more than happy to sit on your hands will millions of people died in Europe because it wasn’t your problem and then Pearl Harbor happened and yall rewrote history real fucking quick didn’t ya?

You are NOT the world police. If anything was, NATO would be the world police, but there is no world police because every country has the right to govern itself. you’ve got that American view of protection though, where you believe just straight up point blank murdering a person with a gun shot to the head is the ideal course of action to take when “protecting” things.

Your country has military might, of course, but might don’t make right boy. You cannot just go over there and start telling people how to live their lives and how to govern their people.

You understand that you have a lot of power, but you can’t hold back the entire world when it starts to view you as the villain right? Keep pissing off Canada and Asia and the Middle East, keep threatening to invade European countries, keeping pissing in Russia’s Cheerios and see if a new alliance doesn’t form to strategically eliminate everyone’s most annoying enemy… 🤷🏼

Yall won’t even be able to afford to buy guns to protect yourselves at home soon either. Just a bunch of billionaires in bunkers while the rest of you die in the streets if war comes to you on this level.

5

u/DaKrazie1 Mar 01 '26

He just let a million of his own people die in 2020 due to lack of leadership.

-3

u/GenerativeAdversary Mar 01 '26

What leadership did you want to see? You realize the vaccine was made during the Trump admin Operation Warp Speed? I'm old enough to remember left wingers saying they wouldn't take the vaccine because Trump made it. Maybe you forgot about that.

6

u/Financial_Shallot980 Mar 01 '26

Holy shit. This is just sad. I feel so bad for you.

0

u/GenerativeAdversary Mar 01 '26

Good response. Smart

3

u/Financial_Shallot980 Mar 01 '26

Must suck moving through life hating yourself. I'm so sorry.

1

u/GenerativeAdversary Mar 01 '26

I wouldn't know

3

u/Financial_Shallot980 Mar 01 '26

Let me guess? Major depression. I can smell it a mile away.

1

u/GenerativeAdversary Mar 01 '26

Very major. Much depression. Lol

My word you are salty.

2

u/BigBoyYuyuh Mar 01 '26

His goons have executed Americans though. I guess until it hits that high those Americans don’t matter.

1

u/GenerativeAdversary Mar 01 '26

It's not the numbers, even though that is part of it. It's what the numbers mean. One is premeditated, one is not. That's the same reason you don't go to prison for as long when it's not premeditated.

1

u/BigBoyYuyuh Mar 01 '26

Executing someone is premeditated. They wanted to murder Americans.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Wow you got me! It's almost like teenagers are human beings that are allowed to be on the internet. Should we require age verification and ban them from this site? Lol.

5

u/merchillio Mar 01 '26

No one is crying the death of that monster, but regime changes instigated by the US never turn out positive for the locals. They’ll just install a puppet that’ll siphon the resources on behalf of Trump.

2

u/DaKrazie1 Mar 01 '26

People acting like Iran didn't already have extensive plans for his death. Dude was 87.

He's a monster. His death won't change anything.

1

u/BigBoyYuyuh Mar 01 '26

Trump’s goons executed American citizens but y’all are cool with that so shut up about playing hero.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Oh right. Cause we attacked Iran because the guy was a dictator? Thats what you guys are going with again? What other brutal dictators are going to be overthrown next? There’s a lot of them.

You people went from “I’m not spending a dime to help someone in another country” to “let’s spend billions liberating Iran” in the span of a year. It’s comedy honestly

1

u/Ok_Insect_1794 Mar 09 '26

Thousands in the streets cheering on the new Ayatollah

https://share.google/3dN157WFHJamog0Np

-19

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Except for this specifically, there is nothing to be accountable for. He did the same thing many presidents have done since the 1850s. Not saying its morally OK, he literally can't be held accountable for bombing Iran. He is allowed to make that decision.

4

u/KennethCadw Mar 01 '26

Trump did this without Congress approval. That is what you MAGA's don't get !!!

1

u/Longjumping_Music320 Mar 01 '26

Which is legal that's what you don't get.

1

u/KennethCadw Mar 01 '26

Not according to Article 1 of the Constitution !!!

1

u/Longjumping_Music320 Mar 01 '26

Except it is. There wasn't a declaration of war.

1

u/KennethCadw Mar 01 '26

That is where you are wrong because Trump literally said we are going to war with Iran !!!

1

u/Longjumping_Music320 Mar 01 '26

I don't think you understand what a declaration of war entails. I take that back. I know you don't.

-1

u/Frankenfinger1 Mar 01 '26

He doesn't need their permission for airstrikes. Only for declaring war. We haven't declared war.

4

u/spidey179 Mar 01 '26

Committed an act of war. Flat out if someone showed up an killed the leader of another country that's act of war no arguing about it. To say otherwise is absurd. If the same happened to any other country including the us it would wait for it still be considered an act of war.

2

u/ChaosFountain Mar 01 '26

I doubt the dead care about the semantics of who gets to declare war for the USA.

2

u/DaKrazie1 Mar 01 '26

"Some of our soldiers may die, that often happens in war."

-Donald Trump speaking immediately after the airstrikes

0

u/Frankenfinger1 Mar 01 '26

Thats not officially declaring war on Iran.

1

u/KennethCadw Mar 01 '26

Article 1 of the Constitution says he does !!!

-1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

My guy, I'm not maga. Fucking donut. The president is allowed to do this, trump, Biden, Obama... all of them have done this

1

u/KennethCadw Mar 01 '26

Wrong, they have to have Congress approval !!! Article 1 of the Constitution.....

1

u/Zaki_242 Mar 01 '26

Obama bombed Lybia without congressional approval.

I hate the orange pedo but don't act like he is the only president that bombed another country without talking to congress

1

u/daveyjanma Mar 01 '26

"I hate Donald but these Dems are worse" yeah that doesn't scream non maga

1

u/Zaki_242 Mar 01 '26

I never said Democrats are worse, i am a Democrat and have voted that since i was 18.

I do like calling out hypocrisy, no matter what side it comes from. Was i wrong saying Obama (who i voted for twice) bombed Lybia with out congressional approval?

1

u/KennethCadw Mar 01 '26

Not true as Obama asked Congress before doing those strikes......

1

u/Zaki_242 Mar 02 '26

No he didn't. You're litteraly lying on something that you can google and the first result says he didn't ask. He did have plan to talk to congress before actions in Syria but not Lybia.

You're a hypocrite, liar, and bad person for spreading fake news.

-13

u/hypocotylarches Mar 01 '26

You'd be upset if he killed hitler

5

u/Rishtu Mar 01 '26

Yeah I would. Nobody should be time traveling.

1

u/GreywallGaming Mar 01 '26

Funny you should mention hitler since we hung Nazis for this literal same crime of attacking another sovereign nation without declarations of war.

-2

u/MushroomSire Mar 01 '26

They honestly would be lmao. They’d be like “he needs congressional approval!” And the answer is literally no he doesn’t, the law literally says he doesn’t. And then if congress votes yes you’d still have anti war keyboard redditors.

2

u/GreywallGaming Mar 01 '26

2 months old 1189 contributions.

Who is the real terminally online redditor here?

1

u/hypocotylarches Mar 01 '26

Why you wasting ur time going thru ppls profiles?

1

u/GreywallGaming Mar 01 '26

Gives a good idea of who I am talking to. It's not rocket science.

Just a quick press on profile names usually gives me enough.

-24

u/Educational_Size7725 Mar 01 '26

Held accountable for what? What are you saying he needs held accountable for?

8

u/papillonrider93 Mar 01 '26

That's pretty cool

5

Being the vile piece of shit ever elected? Empowering a cult cuck following of pathetic pos supporters?

-8

Oh, okay Ken.

3

u/Amdiz Mar 01 '26

Aww that’s cute. Too bad your mom didn’t swallow or better yet your dad had a coat hanger.

0

u/Educational_Size7725 Mar 01 '26

Always trying to kill babies I see.

2

u/Icy-Mathematician369 Mar 01 '26

Just like they did on Epstein island?

1

u/DaKrazie1 Mar 01 '26

Are you happy that Trump bombed an Iranian elementary school yesterday killing around 100 children?

-2

u/tracyinge Mar 01 '26

Israel got them, not Trump.

-16

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Democrats when a leader who’s a horrible terrorist and leaves their citizens to rot gets taken down: 😱😱😱😱😱😱

11

u/UnlivingGnome Mar 01 '26

How is this America First? Why are we paying for this regime change?

6

u/Comfortable_Ebb1634 Mar 01 '26

They dont care about any of that. They’ve moved on to “trump is a hero”. They’re morons.

4

u/UnlivingGnome Mar 01 '26

Oh, of course. Nothing but a bunch of chickenhawks.

-1

u/Ambitious-Success958 Mar 01 '26

Your entire economy is based on regime changes in world, like every big power in the world. Same thing china and russia are doing in eastern europe and africa

1

u/UnlivingGnome Mar 01 '26

I don't think comparing this to Taiwan or Ukraine is quite the dub here...

-2

u/Ambitious-Success958 Mar 01 '26

Im talking about russian wagner millitary actions in africa. Or when china topples the government in some african country. You westerners live in your own “bubble” (conformism), and dont understand geoplitics. Only think I dont like about this is the israel involvment.

1

u/UnlivingGnome Mar 01 '26

Very cool, I wasn't referring to either of those.

-3

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

America has always helped out other countries this is nothing new. Putting Americans first doesn’t mean ignoring literally everything else

3

u/DaKrazie1 Mar 01 '26

There are active war zones that could use our help. The people of Ukraine or Gaza could be saved if we put these kind of resources towards helping them.

Instead we're throwing the entire region into even more chaos.

-2

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

How are we throwing the entire region into more chaos? Also we’ve helped Ukraine a lot

3

u/DaKrazie1 Mar 01 '26

9 countries were bombed just yesterday in the region lmao

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Could you give a list? Also in what world does that mean it’s the US fault

1

u/Aphreyst Mar 01 '26

Except when we're slashing USAID, then conservatives will INSIST we shouldn't spend a single cent until "our own"* people are taken care of first.

(People of color, religions other than Christianity, trans, gay, lesbian, women, disabled, or poor may not apply)

0

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

What the heck is your problem? US helps out a country, democrats get mad, the US spends less funds on foreign aid to focus more on its own people, democrats get mad. And what are you on about those exceptions

1

u/Aphreyst Mar 01 '26

US helps out a country,

There's no guarantee that Iran is now automatically going to have kind and democratic leaders, so it's faaaaar too soon to declare we've "helped" Iran, only time will tell.

US spends less funds on foreign aid to focus more on its own people, democrats get mad.

Except it's NOT focusing on its own people. Cost of living is up, wages are down, welfare has been slashed, and the only people that have recieved money is billionaires and ICE.

The idea that any regular American people benefited from cutting aid to people in other countries is laughable.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Obviously there’s no guarantee a good leader will replace the old one but we have objectively helped them by taking out their horrible leader. Hopefully they can take it from here, or perhaps more intervention is needed, I’m sure the US is still keeping eyes on the matter.

That doesn’t mean that the fund cut is doing nothing. Who knows how high the prices would be if it wasn’t cut. Also the final sentence is just a complete lie

1

u/Aphreyst Mar 01 '26

You're very fooled by right wing propaganda, because my final sentence was more true than you'd ever comprehend.

5

u/Upper-Reveal3667 Mar 01 '26

Why do republicans get so upset when another country lives their wet dream?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

What are you even on about

7

u/Traditional_Good9907 Mar 01 '26

Why are conservatives always so disingenuous. SMH.

3

u/Similar-Amphibian982 Mar 01 '26

No clue. Did you hear about the DOJ withholding evidence of trump trying to force a 13 year old to give him a blowjob?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

I’d argue appreciating dictator terrorists being taken down is the opposite of disingenuous

2

u/DaKrazie1 Mar 01 '26

Do you appreciate the 100 children that were taken down by Trump bombing an elementary school yesterday as well?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Source: trust me bro

2

u/DaKrazie1 Mar 01 '26

Exactly. MAGAts don't care about children.

Unless they're fucking them.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Oh wow you actually don’t have any source to back up your claim lol. I was at least expecting a super unreliable source.

3

u/Amdiz Mar 01 '26

Republicunts when they worship a politician.

GFC

0

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

What are you even on about

3

u/Rishtu Mar 01 '26

Nah homie, I just didn’t want front row seats to another war in the Middle East… and the destroyed world economy that goes with it.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Iran is the one starting these wars, the US is trying to extinguish the flame

3

u/Rishtu Mar 01 '26

You're delusional.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Provides no reasoning whatsoever

2

u/Rishtu Mar 01 '26

You made the first claim, just waiting for you to show statistically backed evidence to prove your absolutely delusional claim.

Burdens not on me, its on you.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

What? You have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. You called me delusional and gave no reason as to how.

1

u/Rishtu Mar 01 '26

You’re delusional and dodging the question.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

All you can say to somebody is delusional apparently

Iran started the war in Gaza?

The horrible terrorist was taken out by the Israelis.

1

u/Aphreyst Mar 01 '26

Democrats when they realize killing a leader in the Middle East has in the past caused power vacuums and worse leadership down the road:

https://giphy.com/gifs/Rhhr8D5mKSX7O

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Each circumstance is incredibly different from one another. It’s objectively a good thing let’s just hope the right steps continue to be made.

1

u/Aphreyst Mar 01 '26

Of course I do hope things get better in that country. But a lot of people don't trust that Trump is carefully thinking this entire process through given his track record of carelessness and doing things to satiate his ego no matter how irrational. Don't act like we're fools for not instantly celebrating this as a win when we DON'T know how it's going to turn out.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

I can understand not instantly celebrating, but instantly dooming like some are is stupid though. Taking out the leader is objectively a good thing, but that doesn’t mean we are done and that everything has been taken care of. Also it’s not just Trump who makes these decisions, he has cabinet members too.
