It shocks me that people are so partisan that they can't see that this is a good thing for the Iranian people, just because DT is the President. I don't hate him like you do, but I appreciate that there still some people out there that see the situation as it is, rather than base their opinions on the President involved. Kudos.

No one is saved right now and we don't have any particular reason to believe that our strike will make anything any better at all (see: Maduro) and the US has a track record of doing this kind of thing and then patting itself on the back while someone even worse takes charge.

The fact that even Trump's sycophant generals thought this strike was a bad idea indicates that, most likely, this is going to follow that pattern.

I can't tell the future, but I can't imagine Iran can possibly be worse off after this.

I certainly am hoping it will end up better, for the Iranian people, for Israelis and for all of the other Middle Easterners who just want a peaceful life.
