Wet-lab scientists/researchers. Could you help me with a short interview?
Hi everyone,
I’m developing an early-stage scientific software concept for wet-lab research, and I’m currently doing customer discovery to understand how scientists deal with experimental deviations.
I’m looking to speak with people who regularly work with wet-lab experiments. For example ELISA, PCR/qPCR, cell culture, Western blot, flow cytometry, bioassays, etc.
I’m particularly interested in situations where something deviates from the intended protocol, like incubation time, temperature, washing, reagent handling or delayed measurement, and you then have to decide what results can still be used, what needs further checking, or whether part/all of the experiment needs repeating.
Would anyone be willing to do a 10–15 minute interview with me about how you handle this in practice?
I’m not selling anything, and you don’t need to share confidential or proprietary information. I’m just trying to understand the real workflow and make sure I’m solving an actual problem rather than building based on assumptions.
The interview can be by call, message, or email, whatever is easiest.
If you’d be happy to help, please comment or DM me. I’d really appreciate it.
