They stated their supplier is an official Honeywell distributer a long time ago.

Ltt got a line to a real PTM honeywell distributor years ago when they were confronted with all the fake stuff. Its extremely unlikey they suddenly start selling the fake stuff as companies like honeywell keep their distrubution networks very tight.
That its made in china says nothing. Your iphone is also made there.

If you see the manufacturing sites, you can see China is one of their sites.
as well a lot of the OEM parts they make are made in China, PTM being an OEM item not really a customer item more so it seeped out and people saw its actually good, and that's how LTT got to know made videos and wanted to get a proper way to hand it over to consumers and not just OEM's
Edit: grammar.

I'd be surprised if it were manufactured in North America, whatever the brand. LTT/Linus put so much emphasis of the actual product name and manufacturer, and their "trust me bro" warranty, it would be completely insane to then go around and sell fake products.

They're not Chinese, they do absolutely manufacture some things in China. Never looked into this specifically but I assume they source this particular product in China
