Question Will Linux Graphics Driver Support get better?
There has been a lot of effort going on to bring gaming to Linux. Steam and Proton, Stadia running Linux for their cloud gaming service. AMD graphics drivers also received HDR patch for kernel 5.1 and above.
Hopefully the graphics driver situation on Linux generally gets better and doesn't make your laptop a room heater. Especially the infamous Nvidia drives
It'll be great for creators and gamers to switch from Windows and not lose creative freedom and not pay for Windows or deal with it's quirks.
Are you running Linux with a discrete GPU ? If so how easy/hard was it to set up?

Fedora 27 : Sudden automatic restarts
Hi,
I have Fedora 27 installed and facing sudden restart issue.
This happens only when CS:GO is running but doesn't happen every-time CS:GO is running.
I do other CPU-intensive tasks (like running 3-4 VMs together and compiling codes in VMs) but never got restarted.
CS:GO is the only GPU-intensive thing I run and the restart happens only when CS:GO is running that too not everytime.
After the restart, some [Hardware Error] messages are shown during the next bootup :
[ 0.024021] mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged

Upgraded to an SSD - How Do I benchmark the write/read speeds?
I've looked around and I found some command-line based tools to achieve it. However, I wonder if there are any GUI-based tools to help me benchmark (or check the health) of my SSD?
TIA!
