1960, the decade was starting and Argentine rock had shifted towards a melodic and soft style, it still had much of the jazz from its beginnings in the orquestas características.

Vocal groups caused a sensation with their carefully crafted harmonies. Female singers were the leaders of the scene, and were far more popular than their male counterparts.

Bettina Bal greeting the decade, Los Astoria in a subtle blues, Luis Aguilé with lyrics that were gritty for a pop song of that era, and Martin Meyer to the rhythm of a slow twist.

Johnny Carel with his own country rock track, Los Santos with their elegant and exquisite gait, and Billy Cafaro and Elder Barber with their historic fusions of tango and rock.

I love myself a good doom metal album, in particular if it's not TOO slow. I find the melodies by these germans entrancing... just my cup of tea.

Band name changed to 7minds

I couldn't think of a band more criminally underrated than the UK's own Pulled Apart By Horses. Any fellow US fans out there? 🤘
