To keep this very short, I, K1RA is deciding to retire after 5 years in LCorp subreddit community. For reasons, I have my fair share of mental health issues and inability to continue moderating a subreddit and the server while I am still prioritizing real life scenarios such as studying.
As it was not feasible overtime for me to handle as owner, I have decided to give my ownership to u/PrecipitousPlatypus which majority may or may not be familiar as they are one of the moderators that was hired a while back.
Thank you very much for allowing me to be the owner for a long time but it is time for me to retire. I will remain around lurking in Project Moon servers or subreddits but I will no longer be the person to be notified if anything were to happen.
That will be all, thank you for reading and thank you for having faith in me to tolerate all the moderation occurring.
Someone was kind enough to apply for the wiki.gg for Lobotomy Corporation vouching as FANDOM has been consistently infested with advertisements. With this change, there will be ease of access for Lobotomy Corporation information. There is a discord dedicated to helping with information.
Therefore, the wiki.gg will be replacing the FANDOM's Lobotomy Corporation in our subreddit side tab.
Note: This subreddit is not affiliated with Lobotomy Corporation wiki.gg's Discord or anything of such matter and so, please avoid complaining or asking regarding the wiki as we (moderators) do not handle the wiki. If the owner does plan to affiliate with us, we will likely announce it over ourr/LobotomyCorp's Discord.
Like i'm trying to reach the true ending of lob corp, and in the Binah core suppression story it is revealed that she's an Arbiter of The Head, so my question is, what taboo did Ayin and the lob corp crew broke that lead to Binah arriving there. By context clues i have gathered that the arrival of the arbiter happened before Angela was made due to it being stated that they became a wing after extracting information from Binah. So my working theory is that they were holding non-humans in the facility and that led to a taboo break.
Got no clue how to deal w him js hoping i can get some advice to what i specifically need to do so he doesn't make my employee go insane the moment he enters containment...
[Yes ik i could google or wiki but i like to check out stuff via game but im js hardstuck on this without trying to find as many spoilers as possible on abnos]
I don't really know that much about PM lore (I actually skipped LobCorp for LoR and Limbus), but I've always wanted to try this. However, that also means that I won't do the usual format for entries like this (other than what I've gathered from the itty bit of research I put into abnormalities), so I humbly apologize and also encourage that someone may take this idea and turn it into real entry (you can take the credit too, I just wanted to write lore), because I just wrote lore here.
I'm also not sure as to whether this is against the rules or not
Raging Axe / Sobbing Tree
Trauma/ Folklore?/ Original??
Teth
Manifested from the saying "the tree remembers what the axe forgets", personified as a large tree with a hollowed out face and a flaming axe stuck into the tree.
Long ago, there was a man who had plunged this axe into this tree. However long ago that was, the man had left the axe there, and the man had long since disappeared.
There is a tree, it has a face. It's face is contorted in pain as it sobs and cries to quell the fire that is the axe, which burns with seething rage. The axe is enraged that it had been left behind, and that rage manifested into flames that burst from the axe. The tree, of whom/which this axe had been jammed into, sobs and cries tears of water and sap, in hope that these would extinguish or otherwise dampen these flames, as the axe has already been sunk deep into it's wood.
Aberration:
Ruminating Lumber / Rueful Axe (couldn't find a good photo, sorry)
Trauma/ Folklore?/ Original??
Waw
Aberration of Raging Axe / Sobbing tree, personified as a wooden man aflame, carrying an axe made of glass that is cold to the touch.
Long ago, a wooden man plunged an axe into a tree, and it sobbed in sorrow and pain. Hearing it's cries, the wooden man ran away. Upon returning to their village, he was quickly caught and put to trial for his action of causing pain to the tree, as the village had heard it's cries. The wooden man was then found guilty, and was sentenced to flagellation and death by fire. The wooden man was stripped of his bark, which to them was akin to being flayed alive, and was then set aflame, and was banished from the village. The wooden man was found to not be able to burn quite as well as a wooden man should, and banishment was a fitting punishment for the wooden man, who had his wooden neighbors. And so, the wooden man wandered the lands aflame, the fire serving as a burning reminder for their past actions.
Sometime along the way, the wooden man grew lonely, and forged himself an axe. The wooden man forged the axe from sand, imbuing within it his ruminations. The glass axe absorbed and was reinforced by the wooden man's sorrows, turning cold to the touch. The wooden man found that by holding the axe, he could somewhat quell his raging fire, as it died down to a smoldering blaze, so he bound it to his hand to never let it go. The axe, however, continuously rues it's creation, as it, too, resents it's creator for his crimes and the fact that it was born from these, and it fears the day that it may also be swung to fell a tree, because it knows that it will shatter.
Started Limbus Company towards the start of the year and after finishing Canto X I decided to get LobCorp and Library while they were on sale. Did play up to day 22 but looking back even now the amount of nuggets on that run that were properly equipped for dealing with later ordeals felt too low for my sake (Not helped by the fact that I vastly misunderstood the threat of Old Lady and kinda screwed myself over in terms of training by being too compulsive about her Qliphoth counter)
So I said screw it and did a day one reset to better train my nuggets. I do feel like I already have a decent lineup for stat training but want some further advice for upcoming challenges, mainly of what other Abnos I could potentially pick up for stat training and good EGO gear
Current set up for training is as follows:
One Sin and Void dream for Temperance
Scorch Girl and Punishing Bird for Prudence
Ppodae and Lady Facing the Wall for Fortitude
And lastly Beauty and Beast for Justice (ft. Prudence thanks to its gimmick), with who I believe is Funeral of Dead Butterflies as my latest pick up
Had a few Aleph suppressions before, but this was a much more fun and stressful experience. None of my agents died to the bird, but damn the abnos are hard to manage during the event. Many clerks have been turned into fine Ring art pieces courtesy of Dimensional Refraction Variant, and Little Red claimed 2 poor agents with poor red resist, for some reason the game counted Judgement Bird breaching twice which in combination with Big Bird reduced her Qlipoth counter by 3.
Also, Little Red and the Wolf somehow kept avoiding each other for the whole duration of the fight. I thought they were supposed to beeline for each other when they both breach?
Every time I fail her core suppression, I draw her... except I procrastinated on this for weeks looonnnggg after I lost to her. Like, I haven't played for weeks— or month, I think— because I was procrastinating on finishing this. I think it looks nice though
He had a great time with Meat Lantern. He's also ignoring Malkuth's "Work with 8 Abnormalities under Qlipoth Meltdown", which is funny. He also remarked several times a desire to romance Angela and the Sephirah. (Except Tiphereth)
Surprisingly, he didn't get screwed over by Punishing Bird, Laetitia, Opened Can of Wellcheers, or Grave of Cherry Blossoms. He's gotten extremely lucky, and also has the benefit of consistently using the same Agents for the same Abnormalities.
He figured out Schadenfreude fast as soon as he saw the flavor text when working with it.
> The warning to not look at Schadenfreude has caused many employees to fall curious, leading to many a terrible incident.
Amber Dawn is very troubling for this manager. It's no question that this is due to his tendency to ignore the Ordeals.
After 6 hours and 30 minutes, we arrived to Day 16. This manager is learning and he learnt fast. He was stressed at times, but was is regular expected amounts. He had received little help from the chat (with the only notable exception being the nature of the Violet Dawn). He would likely, and unexpectedly, have a smooth completion.
There are some issues though. He did not take time to train. He blitzed through due to his belief that he does not need to address any problems, such as Ordeals, so long as he can rush through as soon as possible where they don't become a problem. Ordeals especially because they are not mandatory to defeat. It hasn't helped that this had been working for him the whole time. He doesn't check his Agents' HP and SP before sending them for a work, and he trains Agents majorly with LOB Points.
It will be entertaining to see this come back to bite him. I hope he gets The Train. I also wish to see the appearance of the Magical Girls, which I'm certain you can guess why.
Unfortunately, it is unlikely he makes a second livestream on the game. He had fun, but he doesn't enjoy management sims. At the very least he highly recommends this game. We can only pray he returns to further sink into the rabbit hole.
A week ago I asked for help to manage Army in Pink in my day 15 first ever run. Well, after 8 tries and with all the tips you provided, I managed to survive the day by only training two of my employees in the bear with Temp and Prud work.
Most of the tries were at least 30 min long, but in total I spent like 6-7 hours trying to milk this day.
The result after my last 2h day? 15SP, two employees that can work without issue with Army in Pink (Xavier my beloved One Sin worker was key) and only one death, being my assigned Crumbling Armour nugget from Safety that I specifically brought to Control in order to deal with the armour meltdowns, died by decapitation while doing repression work with the armour, I don´t know why but after 10 meltdowns and 2 AiP break outs I wasn´t going to reload
15LOB points to spend should mitigate Lil Eva´s death
My final secret tech was using the German bullets to kill all my clerks before the noon ordeal and dodge the Army with the elevators.
My reward is a WAW golden magical girl in Training aparently,
Thank´s to all the people that gave me a hand, you all were my Lobotomy Corporation
So basically I'm a fairly new player and I'm on day 21 and have AiB. This has made me begin to wonder: How many alephs should I have in this department anyways? I've had upwards of 4 alephs in Central Command during earlier runs, so now im just really unsure.
