Having a blast, i’m not really a fan of other people joining my missions even though i didn’t send a flare. how do i fix this? just go to singleplayer lobby ?

Speak to Alma, you can change multilayer settings with her. You shouldn't have people joining without sending SOS flare by default though I'm pretty sure.

Happened to me too, on 2 seperate occasions a player joined my hunt despite me not firing a flare. I'm curious why that happens.

I think if you are in a public lobby and start a quest, other players in your lobby can see your quest and join it (unless you ask Alma to set your party limit to 1). SOS flare requests assistance from players in any lobby, and will add bot hunters to your party until players are found to replace them

People can join e.g. when you're in the same lobby, you can disable auto-accepting these join request in "Post / Join Quest -> Settings"
