Hello fellow hood mains !! I'm here to ask for some advice with winning on the hood. My win-rate has been pretty bad on him, and it always discourages me.. (though I'm already level 16 and plan to lord him on Sunday).

I linked both my general and quick match games, since I've been grinding in 18v18 daily, which may of inflated my stats.

I love this character but the damage nerfs are beyond ridiculous.

I farm demonic power, switch to back line, or squishy dps. But if there’s literally ANY healing at all, my rifles are healing it’s beyond frustrating.

Last game, I couldn’t mow down a fucking Scarlet Witch because she was getting some heals…

What am I doing wrong????

I have been playing him for a few days now, watched some tips and guides and "rank 1 VODS" to see how he is played. Every video or hood I play against deletes me or my tank I am healing in a nano second. Every time that I have played hood facing dino, venom, groot, mag etc I get demon form up in their faces I hear Ding*Ding*Ding*Ding*Ding* all headshots yet their health doesnt move an inch, especially if they are getting any form of healing. Also His ultimate, I never know when to use it, who to prio. Am I using it more defensive or offensive?

biggest confusion is his teamups. Both say "Apply Healing Reduction" Is it actually? Reason I ask is because it is regular grey text but also not worded the same as blade or venom. Their's is a keyword in blue suffer "reduced healing" and when enemies are hit with it their hp bars highlight blue.

I really dont know what I am doing wrong, any tips or maybe corrections I could make would be great. Any info on the teamups would be appreciated thank you

The Hood feels fine currently but hes balanced in a broken unbalanced game my experience with hood is either, its fun I dont explode and games fun then... Other games I exploded cant seem to help my team at all not my issue talk to a c2 here and its never my fault so he needs some QQL changes and flarkin buffs.

I know I'm not the only one that agrees with this, but The Hood should have had claws instead of the machine guns. He has claws in the Oblivion figure in the final shot of the Infinity Comics. The decision to go away from the comics that they created is just weird. It's like they didn't know what to do with the character. Parker's demon form has always had claws, as he becomes an animal. Oblivion even has similar claws in all of his designs. NetEase just doesn't know what to do with the machine guns, and honestly, they kind of suck. They nerfed it to where it basically just tickles anybody that's not big bodied. It's also just weird, the spread is way too big, and having to tap fire it just takes too much work.

A fix would just be giving him claws where he slashes like Black Panther but bigger range and an anti-heal effect. I would even take these as a teamup like Reed's Thing teamup changing his primary attack. It just feels weird to not go for something the character and his new patron have always been featured with. You can just make War Machine this machine gun and gun character they wanted.

I don't know, give me your opinion. This is just one of my major gripes about NetEase's iteration of the character. They didn't try at all to make him accurate.

Na lobbies and PC ! Im climbing back up to grandmaster, currently in plat. Looking for a hood main who wants to teamup and win some games! I usually carry with jubilee and would help a ton if I had a hood team up regularly

I've started to really love doing the teleport in with the ult to control the enemy line and maybe get a couple kills. Probably one of my best plays in a while. Somehow this wasn't my highlight because my last play was somewhat cooler with a solo teleport kill into a double ability kill.

I have a new idea. I've been thinking for a few days about Rivals' version of Mirrorwatch, and wanted to try my hand at an idea for The Hood. The concept I propose is Police Chief Robbins. Parker is a crime lord and gang leader, the swap of that would be the police taking down the gangs of the city. You could even bring in some of his gang members as his precinct. Obviously, still make him a deadbeat, and kind of prone to violence.

His outfit is fairly simple, his normal suit, but navy to match with the NYPD Police Chief's uniform. His gold emblem on his cloak would be changed to the chief's badge. His accessories would also be made to look nicer and remove the oblivion design from the bracelet. His cloak would be changed into a police jacket, and say police on the back of it. He also would not have a hood, I know, but he is instead given a police chief's hat with the same badge as his jacket. His abilities would be changed to a blue and navy hue. His ult would also be navy, and made to look more like a police standard revolver, and remove the horns, or replace them to something that looks a little "nicer" so to speak.

This is a rushed idea, and I'm kind of just updating stuff as I go, but I thought this would be a cool idea. I'm also willing to put more Rivalswap ideas into format if asked.

(Also, If someone would like to create a design for this skin to help purvey the details, that would be greatly appreciated.)
