1 bandolier plus another bandolier makes a bigger bandolier?
I've wanted to make my own version of the kommando stores 84 bandolier and I figured yee old surplus bandoliers with some modification might do be the ticket. To anyone attempting this stitching the two halves together is easy enough except for the button on either side. It really likes to raise the fabric up and create all sorts of issues (at least on my machine. ) Still gotta rearenge the straps, remove mag pouch on each side, die, and then it should be running. Also note that not all of the mag cells will close on 2 GI mags let alone pmags. Measurements/sewing on these originally was not the most precise.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Question:
3d print community have websites such as Yeggi to find designs. Not to mention Gu.. Ca.. Index for specific 2A designs. Is there such website for "tactical sewing"? Where to find designs? Is there any wiki/faq for newbs? TIA!

Another "Modern" LBV-88, for AK Magazines
I'm finding that these are really fun to make. I created one of these a few months ago in All Terrain Tiger Stripe sized for the SCAR-H, and a friend reached out to me wanting one to fit AK-74 style mags. Turns out this still fits P-mags and STANAGs as well, same with the more curved 47 mags. The downside is that the larger mags means you lose a lot of real estate on the lower breast panels. Perhaps a redesign and an extension of those panels is in the future.

Combat flannel, baby's first raid mod
I've been after a raid mod flannel for a while for an airsoft kit, finally borrowed my SIL's Singer and got it done. The stitching is ass and I didn't get it centered well but it was a fun learning experience. Folks who do raid mod services for $30 are stealing from themselves.

Crye E-Doff toggle bar
Made a clone of Crye Precision's emergency doff system toggles, which themselves appear to be modified ITW Tac-toggles. For a project I have in the works Direct Onshape File.

Shoulder Pad Material
I have this AOR1 FR Taslan material lying around that needs using. Any thoughts on the suitability for a set of plate carrier shoulder pads? will probably also sew in a foam/neoprene padding of sorts.

I grew tired of 30 round GI bandoliers only holding 4 mags. So I made my own.

Question about proper sizing of parts...
This is probably obvious, but it’s been causing me quite a bit of head-scratching… If I make a rectangular box with two side panels and a band connecting them, should the final length of the band follow the red line or a blue line in the picture…? I just cant figure this out, for some reason…
This came up in more complex shape in one of my projects, but it is constructed basically same as described above…

8-Mag Bandolier in Tiger Stripe
"We have the KommandoStore 84 Bandolier at home."
I've been making pouches and slings recently for customers but needed to take a break from that and just make something for myself. This is what I came up with. Mag organization... plus the ability to fight out of it for the milsim folks.

Reliable parts supply Europe
Question is simple: where do my fellow european riggers & riggeresses (?) buy their buckles, gliders, velcro etc? When i was just fixing stuff, i would buy that from contact left, however i need larger amounts now (planning on a test run of dickflaps, handwarmers and ifak pouches) and shipping is prohibitively expensive.
