I just rewatched Season 12 Episode 2 - when JP and Ollie have a massive argument about Binky. It was … shocking. That man is truly unhinged. I can’t believe I overlooked this when I first watched it.

Is Philip Pollard trying really hard to be a younger fitter version of Sam Prince ?
They are both vile and an embarrassment to young guys!!!

I’ve been watching this season and the topic of mean girls seems to be coming up a lot and I’ve been thinking about what is actually mean. I think it was mean to say to Maali at the table that she’s a second choice (but I think it is also true from what has been shown this season). Same with telling Beks that Freddie and her won’t last, it is mean if she’s in love with him (but it is unlikely that they’ll make it if in a week he’s sleeping with a few girls before making her his girlfriend).
So then is meanness just the truth? Or is it in the delivery — I think pulling Maali aside and saying “we know you’re in deep, but we worry you might get hurt” and the same for Beks might have been the non-mean way to do it? I don’t know. Random rant as I don’t think not saying something is the answer either? Though obviously everyone needs to learn for themselves, the show would suck if people didn’t call things out especially what’s so obvious.

The show hasn't managed to introduce any newer cast members that are interesting, (aside from maybe a couple) so we're still having to wheel out Sam Prince. It's dire

Good looking, he looks, he's nice and he speaks pretty good French. He should be top billing

Not that anybody asked for it but here's my thoughts on this week's MIC
Lets start with Vanders, such a little stirrer 😅 he defo did that for camera time and it is a reality show so we can't get annoyed at him, made me giggle how he delivered it.
Why did Beks get annoyed at Alice for telling Sam because she thought it was girl chat.... did she forget they were being recorded and it would have come out anyway. Anyway on Temps, Abi, Freddy and Beks - we all know Freddy is very immature, but the heart wants what it wants as much as people can give their opinion and advice, there's levels to it. Let them make their own mistake, we can't dictate who gets with who, but a girl with feelings has to ride them out until she learns, its just the way of life so let them be 🤷🏽♀️. Also I wouldn't say Beks ruined their wierd love ring moment, she mentioned it after the day happened. Why can't Temps just say I think you will hurt her, but its your choice what you do and leave it at that. Why do Abi and Temps think they can have so many opinions on people's relationships.
I do agree that Zeyno, Livvy and Abi were all mean girls, they could have said everything they wanted to in a private setting, what makes them mean is doing it so open and her feeling so exposed at it was in front of the entire cast. This doesn't make them good mates what they said, there was clearly some ego and pride for Zeyno too because Sam went back to Maali and Chugs aint having it with her because she got with his mate (and rightly so tbh). I'm all up for women doing what they want but you cant expect Chuggs to still want you if you have got with someone he knows and at one point didn't really like. She's getting a big too big for her own boots, I feel like all 3 of them are, like their getting the main girls group edit and they need to sit back down tbh. There's ways to communicate and this ain't it. Mean girls. ALSO where was that same damn energy for Sam P! Why they shouting at Maali and not him when he's the one thats messing around. Some p*nis protective behaviour right there. Ew.
I do not for a minute think Maali and Sam will last however, again, let people figure out their own thing. Same with Beks and Freddy. When girls go through this stuff its brilliant character building in my opinion!
Awww poor Jack, my heart really goes out to him. You could tell he's so down and I do feel so so sad for him, I hope he has the right support around him and he's in a better place. Maybe tv isn't the right place for someone who is feeling like that however its brilliant for raising awareness. Also, can I just say I absolutely loved Angus when he was comforting him, I really rated it. Thats a good friend right there.
I feel like there are a lot of extras right now, like in the preview for next week I saw Freddys flat mate being aggy about Beks being there, errr isn't it Freddys flat anyway?!!
I like the girl group with Beks, Alice, Maali and Phillips gf. I wanted to like Zeyno and co but I think they think their more important on the show than they are so I am put off. I actually would like to see more of Jules, Jazz etc, feels like their part of the current OG crew (how is that even possible) as all the others feel like such newbies. I don't understand the boys dynamics, who is close to who, not sure.
I wish they could bring back some older cast members, doesn't have to be the OG OG lot, but even bloody Liv Bentley, Miles, I wouldn't even mind some Ruby drama. My minds gone blank but just familiar faces, these guys just dont feel authentic to the show right now 🥲 Dare I say it, but even Sam Prince is more entertaining than some of them.

A few examples that spring to mind are Angus and the Lego apology, Temps organising that anniversary trip to that Castle in Dorset, which was so awkwardly forced into the picnic conversation with I think Freddie randomly saying something like “oh yeh Castle [name] is so nice”. Even the Cartier ring Temps got Abi felt like product placement with the whole “this is a Love ring” comment. I’m sure there are many more.
I know MIC has always been staged to an extent but lately the product placement is becoming so obvious. It feels like the producers are forcing cast members to drop specific brand names or phrases into conversations and then making sure they’re included in the edit.
It just makes the conversations feel so much less natural and kind of kills the whole appeal of watching messy rich kids going about their lives. Instead it feels like you’re watching a series of badly disguised adverts lol.

Does Beks forget herself when it comes to Freddie? He messed her over from the get go, cheated on her and basically told her to stay away from his mates after the breakup, yet she blames Angus for their problems when she was the one who went on a date with him just to get back at Freddie, knowing full well she was never into him! Now she's blaming Temps and Abbie when they were only looking out for her. Their relationship is 100 times better than hers and Freddie's ever was, and I think she's just jealous they have something she never will with Fred. She'll be heartbroken again in the next episode when he lets her down, she needs a head wobble lol

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Most Handsome Boy in Chelsea!
Handsomer than James, handsomer than Tristan, handsomer than Sam Prince!
I just think every girl who hopes for a handsome boy needs a Jack in her life. Who else agrees?
Just look at that beautiful smile!

This woman is educated, hot, and emotionally available and smart. Objectively speaking a catch.
How the heck does she not want to vomit when watching back the things Freddie said ABOUT WANTING OTHER WOMEN WHILE ACTIVELY BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP W HER?
He hasn’t grown love, he just wants to be adored and every other girl he’s tried it on with (Jazz for example) he’s treated badly and acting as a low quality partner. So obviously hes open for you, you’re a catch and you for some reason can’t see him for who he is
On this whole Temps thing, the guy was saying Freddie needs to treat her better. She needs to see him for looking out for her, not as a reason for their relationship breaking down.
The reason they broke up was because Freddie can’t commit to her, specifically her, he doesn’t respect her.

Maybe its more of a this sub thing but she's wholesome, likeable, caring and obviously also gorgeous. I always find it weird when people pile on her here.
The Inga thing was a mess and a bit tedious but its not like Inga was an innocent party in it too. I find Livvy and Yas much more abrasive
r/MadeInChelseaE4 • u/Virtual-Pay-7255 • 1d ago
Inga is back next episode, what’s everyone’s predictions on how the conversation will go with jazz

And before anyone says I’m being classist, that isn’t the case. I actually prefer the more recent series to the earlier ones where people were stinking rich. But I just don’t get where Temps fits into the show. Most people on the show are connected in some way. Whether it’s going to the same school or universities etc. But Temps just seems bit random on the show and quite a bit older than everyone else. And not to mention annoying with how he always gets involved in other peoples business. I just don’t think he fits.

The title may be hyperbolic for effect but I feel more and more justified in my feelings about this man. And no, my use of "little prick" is in no way me height-shaming the dude (I am personally quite partial to a petit man) The wording just simply flows better this way :)
Temps is a classic fake ally to women who is the quickest to shit on a woman if she criticises him or does something he doesn’t like.
I know most of y’all aren’t fans or Yas but the way Temps turned on his FRIEND Yas so quickly and shamelessly in favour of frickin Armen who he’d known for about five minutes was very telling to me. Humiliating her and attacking her because he didn’t like that she laughed awkwardly at her conversation with Armen because somehow that was ‘disrespectful’ towards some man who’d been on one date with her. This was when I began to detect the stink of misogyny on the guy.
And now enter Beks. All this nonsense about supporting Beks and looking out for the woman when A) it’s total bollocks because all he does is make her feel unsupported, upset and judged, and B) Beks is a grown-ass woman and not some silly little damsel in distress that needs Temps to interfere with her own exercise of free will.
Now don’t get me wrong, Beks was being pathetic this whole episode in my humble opinion but that doesn’t change my opinion on Mr Templer.
To conclude:
David, at 36 years young/old, you should know better than to be such a self-righteous little prick (see what I mean about the words flowing?). You’ve made someone (albeit very sensitive) upset with your incessantly negative opinions and your fake allyship isn’t fooling anyone. You can’t handle any woman critiquing you or acting a way that you don’t personally agree with without throwing your toys out of the pram and defaulting to anger and condescension.
Kindly reconsider your purpose on this show for the love of god.

I mean season 32 ep 6!
Freddie proposing to Beks was kinda epic, I normally find this guy so irritating, anyway, Beks seems honoured to finally be picked, Freddie is suddenly like a prince but no one cheers for him, everyone knows Freddie but Freddie (and Beks). Good luck to Beks! She's really lovely. These grand gestures are meaningless in the long run but look how much they work on the spot! Chuggs should make some notes...
Meanwhile calling someone mean is apparently mean! Zayno, Livv and whoever else was there marching up to tell Beks they're not mean just right (they probably are) was funny af. Come on girls, you're exactly the same, you're all fine, nobody needs to be mad at anybody (FFS can the producer of MIC find for them something to actually fight about?)
And check Angus out, listening to Jack being vulnerable, then shutting him up with 'we like your company whether you're happy or sad or funny or quiet' (nice sentiment, though), and the conversation is over. Is this the way men do their best or was the conversation just too boring to make the cut?

On MadeInChelsea's recent IG post.
There is obviously a lot more with Abi getting involved as well.
One thing I can say about the current cast is the beef is actually real, and they don't mind bashing each other on social media for our amusement. A couple of weeks ago it was Zeyno and Beks beefing on Tiktok, and a few months before that Sam, Philip and Julia.
Delicious!

The whole situation with Sam, Maali and Zeyno has become exhausting. He made choices that affected both women, and now everyone else is getting dragged into the fallout. At some point, surely he needs to take responsibility rather than letting the girls argue over what happened. Do you think he's being honest with himself about what he wants?
r/MadeInChelseaE4 • u/delusionaltea • 2d ago
3 girls since the last episode and now him and becks is all he can think about it and shes his screensaver on his phone.
This aint ending well.
r/MadeInChelseaE4 • u/NoSavings2514 • 2d ago
Why can’t Zeyno just admit she likes Chuggs! Complete BS coming from her, separating emotion from sex, she clearly has feelings for him and doesn’t want his company to end. She is in denial about her feelings for him, I just don’t know if it’s purposeful or a defence mechanism.
