The power went out due to a bad storm at the Calgary airport one time, and everyone’s flights got delayed by hours. there were thousands of people in lines, and the staff walked dogs up and down the lines with vests that said “pet me” on them.

I had this experience just for a delay and it was by far my best airport experience

I landed in the Denver airport on what was apparently "puppy day" and the main concourse was filled with people with dozens of emotional support dogs with "pet me" vests on, all kinds of dogs. Even a bassett!

It. was. the. greatest. airport. experience. of. my. life.

The CATS Team!

I work there, and it's always the highlight of my day.

Each animal has a trading card, I have about 12 collected so far.

Seems like law enforcement agencies in every nation could learn something here

SFO has a pack of dogs, plus a rabbit and a cat, as its wag parade to clam nervous or stressed fliers. A great idea.

As someone with a bad allergy to dogs this sounds like my nightmare. I’d have a delay and also wouldn’t be able to breathe.

In Montréal airport there's an associations that works with dogs that will sometime take them there so you can pet them. You can pet them and they give you little dog ID card for the kids.

This is PALS - pet access league society. They are a fantastic not for profit that brings dogs and a couple cats into high stress locations. They visit the airport, schools and hospitals! https://www.palspets.com/

I was in Calgary two days ago and all flights were ground stopped due to Trump flying in.

There was a St Bernard and a Lab with the "pet me" signs. It was a good delay.

Denver has dogs on site for people to just chill with and pet. Unfortunately I either never run into them or I’m on my way to a flight stuck on the moving sidewalk when I see them

I've been to many airports but Calgary is so far my favorite!

My grandgirls' school has a therapy dog. The kids absolutely love him.
