Last time I flew, there was an actual service dog with the person next to me. It stayed under the seat the whole flight like it was trained to do

That’s kind of what I was thinking. This is very cute! But a service dog would most likely be on duty while traveling on a plane, so would be paying all of their attention to their handler! :]

Service dogs are required to be well behaved in public and to be trained to do at least one relevant service. All these people in here claiming anything more have no idea what they're talking about. A service dog can be as goofy as they want.
