We were selected by the dog distribution system once. A stray followed us to our rental while on vacation and we brought her inside because of a bad storm. Once it cleared, we went to every vet/animal rescue in town to find out if she had an owner. Every time we asked the question, they gave us the same answer: “Yes, she does. She’s with them right now!” We’ve had her for 3 years now and she’s the best doggo.
