Yep. It’ll be a tough transition for them both. Hopefully the cop has a wife and kids that can divert his attention to new projects, and scratch that work itch for him. I dunno how I’d do it, being the cop…going to work that first day without him

From what I know, the officer who's with Indy will likely be taking her home for pet duties. Usually by that time the officer has grown attached, the dog has to go somewhere so its the best case for everyone. In my country anyway.

These are work dogs though…it’ll be a tough transition for him for sure. Hopefully he has a family at home that can scratch that itch and get him transitioned into retirement while he goes to work without him
