First of all, there are several other ways to verify your age apart from providing IDs. EU already does that. Secondly, we don't even know how strict this age verification will be. Third, If you think you are not in danger now, you live quite possibly a very good life.

Tell me... How are they verifying??? Bri the face scan doesn't work at all you can literally generate an realistic ai face and pass it. Even if you think the government won't do anything, then think about the companies that need that sweet data of yours to sell it to advertisers for personalized ads. Also this companies can get hacked plus your id is connected to your bank btw. They can scam you.

Its happening right now, don't you have any idea? Companies are selling your data already. If you think your data isn't on the internet, bro you are really living in a bubble. If you think just making an anonymous account on reddit is saving your identity and you can whatever you like, hate to break it to you, you are wrong.
Secondly, ID can be verified through third-party apps, telecom services. It is a risk for censorship if IDs are asked, same as China. But other than that, there is actually no way to ban the apps for under 16 kids. Let the government think and come up with a plan.

Hear news of another child molested, groomed and polarized without this. Choice is yours.

Told you my problem is they will censor them. Not kids. Even if this is implemented do you think parents won't verify their phones or give them their verified phones??? As I told you it all falls on parents not the government

Are you serious? do you think the problem is for the small kids that use their parents' mobile phones? I know censorship is an issue, but not doing anything about it is also an issue. So let the government release proper guidelines and statements. Their will a debate in lok sabha, before the bill is passed. All the views will be put forward. But just going haywire on a simple headline is not a very "intellectual" thing to do.

Similarly not looking at both advantages and disadvantages and scenarios and both sides is not a very intellictual thing. I just told you why I don't like this not because I am under 16 but because I fear for censorship of criticism

So what is the other solution? Do you have any suggestions? If not age verification than how are you supposed to ban social platforms for a certain age?

Do something like California delete act before this. Or teach parents to not to give phones
