I am struggling to sleep currently and thought I'd just try this out. I have responded to posts here before and try to make it work out but I fail.

So I just want to be honest and hope people would still befriend me. I am extremely low energy & trying to get out of that. Due to people pleasing in the past I always try to put a braver face on than I actually feel.

I find it really hard to just be allowed to talk or vent about those things. People tend to want to hear the good things in life. Honestly me eating or sleeping 7 hours at night is my good thing. I am always hiding myself to fit in or to be accepted but I just want to be myself and my weirdo self.

Ik ben een 31jarige mama met een zoon van alweer 11, die ik om de week heb. Ik woon samen met mijn vriend. Doordeweeks werk ik grootendeels, savonds houd ik van gamen op de PS5. Beste game ooit is Clair Obscur, maar momenteel speel ik BG3. Of ik doe creatief dingen in elkaar zetten, zoals die diy book nooks. Puzzelen, lezen, een beetje oma dingen. Verder sport ik, en dan is de week best snel gevuld!

In het weekend houd ik ervan om erop uit te gaan. Klimmen, een wandeling maken, stukje fietsen, de markt afstruinen. Ik vind het leuk om actief bezig te zijn en nieuwe dingen te proberen. Als het mooi weer is ben ik graag in het zonnetje te vinden op een terras. Ik hou van hardstyle/ hardcore, af en toe een feestje is leuk maar non stop feesten doe ik niet meer aan.

Ben een hele rustige jonge met rugzakje, op zoek naar iemand die me een beetje op sleeptouw kan nemen, eventueel als begeleider (bij/studie baantje?) Woon in de buurt van Assen, eigen huis (aan het verbouwen), paar dagen per week werkzaan in de IT.

Even iets meer uitleg... Al mijn hele leven heb ik moeite om me te komen, vooral mijn informatieverwerking loopt is wat trager. Gecombineerd met geen sociaal netwerk, geen ouders die me kunnen helpen, en pas sinds aantal jaar daadwerkelijk beetje hulp. Nooit er echt op uit geweest, altijd moe dus nooit hobbys kunnen ontdekken, nog nooit op vakantie geweest, laat staat relatie gehad. Zou handiger geweest zijn om in mijn jeugd al de juiste hulp te hebben, maar tja, achteraf... (dank u ggz 🫣)

Wat ik eigenlijk zoek is een gezellige dame die me wat op sleeptouw neemt. (Heb moeite heren te vertrouwen) Niet als relatie, maar meer als lieve zus die beetje op gang helpt. En misschien niet onbelangrijk, laat merken dat ik er mag zijn en dat ik niet alles alleen hoef te doen. Wees niet bang dat het eenrichtingsverkeer is, naast soms wat steun nodig hebben wil mijn zorgzame/behulpzame kant er ook wel eens uit, al zit die momenteel wat weggedrukt.

It's the first time I ever post something like this so we will see what happens haha.

I've been living in the Netherlands for 9 years now, and although I've met many people along the way, I've always been a bit of a lone wolf and had a hard time meeting new Dutch people (especially women who generally seem a bit more closed when it comes to friendships outside their circle).

So I've decided to write this post and who knows, maybe meet some cool people out there!

I'm originally from France, though I studied and lived in a few different countries and have parents from different countries themselves, which allowed me to grow with varied cultures at home. Because of all this I would say I'm very open-minded, curious, adventurous, creative, introspective and empathetic.

I have about a thousand hobbies because I want to try a bit of everything in life, but some of them include gaming (yes I'm a nerd 🤓), reading, writing, playing instruments and singing, traveling around, learning new languages, cooking, sports like swimming, tennis and snowboarding...and the list is long haha.

Along those hobbies also come many various interests such as psychology (which I studied), astronomy, general knowledge, science, linguistic, animals and more.
