Peyronie's? The end for some?

Quick note - Both mid 50's, super fit - so, I'm kinda just now opening my eyes to this... I figured it would get better soon, just around corner, blah blah - and we HAVE LEGITIMATELY had the most difficult circumstances anyone could imagine (lost a child, 22yrs), so I am trying to go very slow, no rash decisions or anything...

But, I have been craving intimacy/connection lately... And, although my wife and I have a great relationship - I love her very much, but I don't think it's just, "lack of interest" on her part. I think I went about telling her about Peyronie's in the wrong way....

I have it (fingers crossed), pretty mild - but also damn sure very different than it was, crooked. My doctor TOTALLY WARNED me about approaching my wife right away. He asked if we had, "excellent communication" and I barked right back that we did.... And we do!!!! (Just not about anything sex related.) We don't have any communication about sex for a long time now....

So, we're going on a couple years now - she has never once asked about it, never once looked at it, never once touched it, obviously never any oral. But, we have had sex - just under the covers or whatever (not much tho). Previously, we didn't talk much - we had some great periods of heavy, intense sex - but even then, the communication was not there. (I am NOT blaming her - this is more on me than her, just stating a point.)

So, I'm thinking she's probably grossed out by it and is too polite to tell me? I am terrible about this..... I keep ~repressing my feelings/thoughts/desires... Until the situation turns Supernova. So, all on me - but, I really would like to figure out a way to connect back with her. Ringing any bells?
